Felix
Words:628

"You what?!" Felix yelled at Adrien. "Don't be such a baby, Felix. We're just going to hang out with my close friends," Adrien told his cousin, oblivious to how his words angered Felix more.

Felix thought, How idiotic was this guy? "You're talking about the friends I was so rude to when they were trying to be nice to you?" Felix stated.

Adrien smiled low-key at his cousin. "I see your point, but my friends are very forgiving. For example, Marinette."

Felix stared at Adrien as the thought of the raven-haired girl flooded his mind. He lightly shook his head to get the thought out of his head. "Marinette?" Felix questioned, pretending to be confused.

"Yes, Marinette - a girl with raven hair and the prettiest blue eyes," Adrien said, a small smile on his face as he described the girl.

Felix watched Adrien closely, curious. "You like her?" Felix mumbled.

"Of course, I like Marinette," Adrien said in a matter-of-fact tone. "As a friend, she's a good person. That's why I know you'll like her."

Felix rolled his eyes at his cousin, knowing there was some truth to what Adrien said - the liking part, only.

"What if she likes you?" Felix raised a brow at Adrien questioningly.

"We're friends, Felix - only friends. Let's just go already," Adrien grunted, flabbergasted, which made Felix more curious about the matter.

"No, I'd rather not," Felix said in his usual serious tone.

"Come, Felix, please," Adrien begged.

"Please what?" Felix said, walking away, but before he could get far, Adrien grabbed him close.

"Please, Felix, I want my friends to get to know what an awesome cousin you are when you're not pretending to be me," Adrien smiled, adding a wink, while Felix frowned.

"Fine, if you let go of me. And did you just use a cat pun?" Felix grunted.

"Uhhh, forget about that. Let's go," Adrien said, dragging Felix along with him.

"Nathalie, we're going to meet my friends at the Dupain-Cheng bakery," Adrien said to Nathalie, who continued to stare at Felix suspiciously.

"Okay, Adrien... and Felix, be home early. Today is your only free day. If you're late, your father might change his mind and stop giving you this freedom," Nathalie said in a business-like tone.

"Okay," grinned an excited Adrien.

Felix thought, Wow, I never knew someone's freedom could be taken away from them if they don't come home on time.

As they were about to walk away, Nathalie called Adrien's name, making both Adrien and Felix turn around. "Have fun?" Nathalie said with a hint of a smile, shocking both of them.

"Thanks, Nathalie," Adrien mumbled.

As the two young boys walked into the car, Felix looked Adrien straight in the eyes. "Does she do that all the time?" Felix questioned, confused, as he had seen the relationship during his week here, and it had always seemed business-like.

"No," Adrien mumbled. "No, she does not."

Felix stared away, no longer interested, as the car began to drive. The rest of the ride was in silence until they finally arrived. "Well," Adrien grinned with a smile, which annoyed Felix.

"Well, what?" Felix said, wondering if he could stay in Paris any longer. It was starting to get annoying, mostly because of his annoying cousin, of course.

"Let's go in," Adrien said, and with a sigh, Felix followed Adrien into the bakery. Yet Felix hadn't expected to see one thing - a beautiful girl. Maybe staying in Paris wouldn't be that bad after all.
