13. "who is she?"

Evangeline POV

"you better be at the office, this old man cant take care of all your works" Alex yells while getting down the stairs 

"not my fault 'you' said me to rest after what happened" i say back 

"uncle Lexi can you drop us at the park, i wanna perform again, its been long and they wanna hear me" Angelo says coming down with Austin Callum and Xavier 

Angelo used to perform a song once in a while at the local park as he says 'it helps in relaxing and passerby's can enjoy too' 

"no"
"of course" me and Alex say at once 

"why?" Austin whines 

"you know what happened, you are not safe" i say as i think of the warning that the Germans sent me 

"we will take the guards with us, please" Xavier said and all the four of them looks at me 

"we are with him, no one harm him, trust us" Callum assures 

"fine be back before 7" i say and they all walk out with two guards

now its only me and Xander alone in this house 

Isabella and Marie went for shopping, Massimo and Alexzander are at work

"yes, i expect it to be done by tomorrow and make sure the shipments are safe this time" i say and hear a 'yes boss' from the other side before hanging up 

as expected i am working from home 

i need to get information out of the idiot in the basement but my wounds still hurt 

so i plan on taking help of Xander

"yo! stop hatting me and come out i need a favor" i say as i knock on his door 

i bet on my cheesecakes that he will open the door with a glare on his face 

and i was right

"what is it?" he sneers 

"first of all please respect others and second of all didn't you want to see the basement?, come on, you will want to help me" i say and walk downstairs as he follows

as i open the basement door and walk downstairs i hear Xander gasp 

"what is in here? it smells of blood" he asks 

"the same which you have in your basement" i say 

as we walk past many cells we finally reach the cell in which the traitor was 

"he stole our data of shipments, he is not willing to tell  a kid like me so help me will ya?" i ask throwing a knife at Xander which he caught 

"with pleasure" he says with a sadistic smirk 

although he hates me, i know how badly his dark side enjoys it

"i will be upstairs in the kitchen if you are done here, come on up after freshening up" i say and walk out 

i know i am leaving him alone and  i know that i can trust him 

 don't know how, i just do 

and i also know that i should not   be doing this

XANDER POV 

she left

just like that?

she trust me or is she testing me? 

who cares

oh i know, you care, an annoying voice inside my head said 

but point is 

this man in front of me 

i can use him for my advantage also 

she is dumb to leave us alone 

"ok so here is the deal, i will go easy on you if you answer the questions i ask, and don't worry it is not about the shipment....... yet" i say 

"yes please" he whimpers 

weak 

"ok, first who is she? why did she lock you up?" i ask 

"yo.... you don't k....know who she is?" he asks trembling 

"who is she?" i ask interested as he seemed scared 

"leader of French Mafia" he says and i drop the knife in my hand 

"what?" i ask 

she is the don of the second leading, most fearful mafia?

and we are third? after her? 

this cant be right 

"don't lie to me, tell the truth" i shout at him punching him 

"its true, Pl.. Please be...believe me, you can ask other here too" he says before i punch him and he faints 

useless punk, so weak 

I wake him up by splashing water on him 

"where is the data?" i ask him as i gave my word i will try my best and i enjoy it 

"i don't know..." 

"wrong answer" i say punching him

"i will tell AHHH STOP PLEASE I WILL TELL AHHH"

fast" i spat pressing on the wound 

"its with the Germans they asked me to  do it" he says 

"rest now" i say punching him making him faint 

i climb upstairs to see Evangeline in the kitchen 

"you look awful, shower then you can eat" she said placing a plate of pasta on the table before leaving 

after showering i went down to see her working on her laptop 

"food is in the oven, i never thought you would take this long to shower" she says without looking up 

as i start eating i finally spoke up 

"you are not asking me if he told me anything?" i ask 

"you think i am dumb? i have cameras and mic installed there so i know, also your technique is unique,  thanks for helping out" she says looking me in the eyes 

"you heard everything?" i ask 

"yes" she says 

"then, what he said, about you being the boss..."

"yes true, i would be happy if you wont tell others" she says 

"why hide?" i ask back 

"not hiding it, Massimo and Alexzander already know it" she says 

"fine" i say and leave the room 

i am so sorry, i forgot to update two Sundays!

its just that i have been busy lately and i am not getting any time to update 

i will try my best to update regularly
