25. "I slept in?"

Evangeline POV

i woke up with something warm surrounding me

I felt safe

Safe from the cold, cruel world outside

Something I never felt before

I snuggle more closer and hear a faint chuckle but ignore it as I was feeling content

Just then something stroked my hair in a soothing manner made me sleepy again and I gave in to the warm feeling

I wake up again to see myself basically on top of dad

Just as I was about to do something he opened his eyes

"you are up?" he asks

"yes" I say sitting up blushing slightly as I never slept with anyone except Angelo before

"everyone is excited to meet you, come on, its almost noon, you must be hungry" he says

"its noon?" I ask shocked "I slept in?"

"yes, now let's go, they are dying to meet you" he says with a smile on my face

And that's all it took me to run to the living room

As soon as I spot Angelo I quickly hug him taking everyone by surprise as they did not see me coming

"I missed you Gelo" I whispered

"me too" he said back

I hug him tightly as he did the same after a few moments everyone joined the hug

I never taught that I would be in the middle of a group happy to see me as a family

It was always only me and Gelo before

"we all missed you" Xavier said after we left the hug

"me too" I say I taught I would never admit it but here I am admitting that I missed someone that wasn't Gelo

"I think i need something for my back" I say as I feel the pain come back

"sure, let me get the first aid kit" Austin said running into the kitchen

Soon enough I was being treated and while he was bandaging my back he asked

"why did you not fight back?"

"I needed the information, it was a part of the plan" I say blankly

"I have a request honey" dad asked

"what is it?" I look at him

"do not ever put yourself in danger for any thing" he says "and also, be safe, please" mom said

I started to call them mom and dad in my mind from the third day I was in that hell

It made me realize how nicely I was being treated with my family and how it was important to treat them the same way in return

But I dare not say it out loud this soon

One week later

Its been a week and I was finally back to my old self except for one little problem

I got my periods today and I and I am very snappy the whole week

Even on Angelo

"Berry come down for breakfast" her shouts

"ok" I shout back and go down

Short chapter I know but I am running out of ideas
