Alexius Johnson | 18
Tampa, FL"Look at what we madee, sure was beautifullll," Alexius dragged out dancing freely as her feet traveled the raw sand of Ben T Davis Beach in Tampa Florida.
"Now I lay it in a grave, now I'm all covered in dirt," She frowned swiping her hair over her shoulders. It's currently eight in the evening and Alexius left her dorm room to explore the beach at night.
She found herself being overwhelmed with thoughts and memories that she needed a way to let go and breath for once so she figured she'd walk the beach but ended up dancing to Mariah the scientist.
A few minutes later she found herself tired so she decided to go back to her dorm and freshen up, maybe study a bit more since she loved doing that.
"I don't wanna be 20-something, And still in my head about, 17 in my bedroom talking, You said that by now we'd, Paint the walls of our shared apartment, You're still everything I want and, I think we could work it out
So what are you doing now?" Alexius sang, working out the math problem in her black notebook. It's currently ten at night and since she didn't have class in the morning she figured she could use her time to study. It's her only way to stay focused and on track and she didn't want to let herself down again by failing so she studied any chance she got.
She knows it's unhealthy to work herself but it's been her only way to escape and cope. She knew no other way to distract herself from her thoughts.
Hearing her phone ringtone began to play she answer it without looking at the contact.
"Hello?"
"Alexius?" The voice spoke and Alexius instantly realized it was france. She didn't respond as she awaited for him to speak.
She believed she'd blocked him.
"That was my sister--I didn't know you had a sister," She chuckled sarcastically, her eyes looking ahead now as her pencil dropped.
"You could've just left me alone France," She sighed propping her elbow up on her desk. "Why would you go through all of this to try and play me?" She questioned with a mug forming on her round face.
"Cause I'm no--
"You didn't even have to call me right now knowing you have relations with another," She cut him off,
"And why would you come up with a lie of her being your sister? You never mentioned having a sister let alone any siblings to me france," She mugged as if he could see her.
"We were supposed to been working on something but you wanna play with me instead of being real,"
You can tell Alexius is hurt right now. She believed she finally had someone who actually understood and wouldn't do a thing to hurt her more or even let her down but France just proved her wrong.
"And there I was thinking you were different, you seemed different too but I guess that's how they lure you in right?" She smiled small.
"Just be with her and leave me out of it," She said about to end the call but stopped once France spoke in a pleading tone.
"Alexius listen to me--Why?"
"Because what you're thinking ain't even right, you ain't even give me a chance to explain? you just went straight to assuming some shit," He said,
"Okay so explain then France," She sigh leaning forward rubbing and toying with her freshly done pedicured toes.
"She's my lil sister that play too fucking much, She ain't mean no harm mama, She just like to play," He sighed.
"Well I don't like to play," Alexius roll her eyes poking her lips out as she swiped a braid away from her face.
"And I'm sorry, Aight? I'm true to my word Alexius and I ain't lie when I said I want you and I got you," He says.
"Everything we been building been falling apart because of stupid shit, I don't wanna go there with you anymore, I just wanna love you and you love me," He says.
"Why didn't you come to help me move into my dorm?" Alexius frowned toying with the buttons on her night gown.
"I was busy mama but I want to make it up to you,"
"How?" She asked closing her computer and climbing into bed getting comfortable under her thick covers.
Alexius believes that France sounded really genuine and she believes he's sorry but she doesn't believe him when he says that the girl is his sister however she doesn't think it's fair to just assume that he's lying when he said he's not.
She wouldn't want anyone to believe that she's lying when she is actually not. Her dad always said that she's not always right and she believed he was right about that. She couldn't even think why he's on her mind right now but she felt as though she was wrong for ever assaulting him that night.
Every time he puts her in a position where she has no choice but to defend herself then Ciara comes with her speech on how you shouldn't disrespect your parents no matter what they do.
God said Honour thy father and thy mother and they love repeating it but I think they forgot about the part where it said do not provoke your children to wrath.
But she believed that maybe her silence is better. She was tired of going over the same thing with them and she planned to leave the past in the past considering she wanted to move on now.
"You just gotta wait and see," Alexius, could tell he was smiling just like she was. She then frowned only thinking the worst. All of this could be fake and France could actually be lying but then again she didn't wanna assume that he was lying but instead take his word for it.
"Okay,"
