What do you want most in the world at this very moment?
*Michael*
I didn't really get much time to relax after getting home before my phone buzzed, the sound of the old guy from family guy saying "Guess who," in my ear. To my surprise it was from Luke.
Luke: Come to town?
I sort of frowned at how short the message was, he could do better.
Michael: Okay, the bus takes half an hour so I'll be there about 4.
I shot out of my bed, and began to remove my shirt, picking out a green plaid button up from a pile of clothes left by my door by my Dad before I received a text back. I immediately stopped what I was doing to see the reply.
Luke: Ok.
Does he even want me to see him? Knowing him, he'd most likely have invited me as just part of a group. He was part of a friendship group that had people only from my year in, and we were all pretty dysfunctional in a sense that not everyone got along, so every time people invited people out, it was either have a good time, or avoid the silence treatment because you didn't invite the person that didn't like the person your closest friend is closest too, since you kinda had to invite that person since your closest friend might have judged you a little. People aren't very understanding these days.
I picked up a small satchel, because who doesn't need a bag, and grabbed a bit of money from my shelf, stuffing it in my pocket, and walked out. I had chosen to go in my typical outfit, black skinny jeans, some random high top boots, tight fitting shirt - nothing fancy since I didn't really get much unless I asked for it, and there was nothing I wanted so I never asked. My Dad stresses that I don't have enough clothes that aren't black, but I have 1 t-shirt, and the thing I'm wearing now that's green. Well yeah, my other clothes are black, that's true enough. My hair right now is also black, however I decided to be frisky and go for a red fringe, which actually worked well.
I leave the house eventually and make my way downtown, walking fairly fast.

When I arrived, I concluded my suspicions with an 'affirmative.' Kat, Luke, Michael (the one from my Geography class), and Rebecca had come along. This wasn't a bad crowd, but I expected Michael was forced into it and would probably go home soon. He might have just needed something, because company is not his strong point. He's not a sociable person.
"Michael's here," Kat announced as I swerved through the small street to meet them.
"This is true," I said in a rather monotone voice, just for the hell of it.
"Where should we go first?" Luke asked, (damn he looked good today, those skinny jeans just make his thighs so - ugh), to which Michael replied with going to the Grainger Market nearby, so we all just meekly followed behind him.
By the time we got there, Michael had already disappeared somewhere to the right, and I only just caught glimpses of him going into a Pet Shop, but he didn't have any pets so I proposed to myself I was imagining it. I also proposed that I was overthinking a small detail that will have no effect on my life whatsoever. The market was an indoor one, where about 5 rows displayed small shops along the entire length. Most of them tended to be fabric stores for some reason, and very rarely food stores. I think there was 1 computer store, but it was just old junk you'd probably not use, and old game cartridges - and I don't fancy picking one of them up, you know, just incase a creepypasta happens to me or something.
By the time Michael had returned to us, he seemed to just smile complacently, and I was kind of curious.
"Where the hell did you go," I asked.
