The Fastest Girl Alive

Chapter 1 Prologue

I remember vividly what happened that night when I was twelve, Mother had just put me and my brother Joseph to sleep. I couldn't sleep because what happened about a week ago, that was when Joseph lost his ability to speak. Father had made some enemies with some people and they came for us first, they held us with swords to our necks. They were demanding him to join something called, the H.I.V.E and were basically forcing him to join.

Father then engaged in battle, he was able to free us by killing off the two men, but he wasn't fast enough when a burglar slit Joseph throat. I witnessed my brothers' face of shock when that happened, his face turned white and his eyes were full of fear. Ever since that night I've been not able to sleep. every time I closed my eyes I could still see the horrors.

It was around three in the morning and I still wasn't able to sleep, I kept tossing and turning my body as I laid in bed. The room was all quiet until I heard the window creak a bit, I turn my body and saw my window was now wide open. I threw the covers off me and got out of bed to investigate.

I looked out the window and out to the street, scanning the area for anyone. Once I saw that there was no one I decided to close me window and made sure to lock it this time. I turned around to go to back to bed, but when I turned around a tall unknown man was right behind me. He approached me and quickly.

I awoke in a strange place that I've never seen before. I sit up and look around, as I looked I noticed another girl in the room with me " you're up finally" said a girl with an eyepatch and silver long hair. "Who are you? Where am I?" I asks her as she stares back at me " I am also Slade's daughter, the name is Rose. We are inside an abandoned military base, this is his hideout. You better get dressed. Then after down the hall to the right, he'll be waiting. Also don't try to run, he'll know."

After she leaves the room I sat there on the bed trying to make sense of my situation "why do i have to change?" I ask myself while looking at the clothes I was given. The clothes that I was given were very odd, they were split colors of orange and black. I was even given a mask to place around my head with a slit in it. I picked up my hair and placed it into a ponytail so I could slide my hair through. After I changed into the clothes I turned into the hallway and entered the main room

January 31 2010...

Mission-Star Labs

During those three years in captivity Father had been training Rose and I to be deadly assains, just like him. Over the course of a year, I learned to stop trying to escape from my father and learned to adapt to my lifestyle, I am nothing more than an assassin working under Deathstroke. "Slasher, Report to the main hall" said Deathstroke through the speakers, "Lucky," said my sister Rose as she laid down in her bunker. It had been a while since she had been on a mission, only because she disobeyed Deathstroke's direct orders by blowing her cover on a stealth mission.

I didn't say anything to her and left my quarters to walk to the main hall. "you called for me sir?" I said as I stood tall with my arms at my side, "I have an assignment for you, usually I'd give these sorts of Tasks to your sister but she has failed to prove her ability to follow orders. You will break into S.T.A.R Labs facility in Gotham City. You will plug this hard drive into the main computer system which will download all their information onto it. I have an informant on the inside who has told me that the Justice League does business with them. with their information, we can access the justice league's plans and use that to take them down. Now don't fail me or else. " he said with a stern and threatful tone.

I didn't say anything, only nodded, and then left the hall to gear up. I took a motorcycle and began to drive an hour into Gotham. I made sure to be extremely careful since it was night and I knew the vigilantes would be out watching.

Once I arrived at S.TA.R Labs I parked my bike in an alleyway near the facility so I could escape faster. I pulled out my hacking device and tapped into the surveillance system. I paused the video, now I was able to continue with my plan.

I attach a small EMP to the fence surrounding the building to momentarily disable the electric fence. I then hop the fence and quickly ran to one of the entrances to the building, I pick the lock with ease, and before opening the door I check the video feed to make sure the coast was clear.

"Two security guards in the hall," I swung open the door and sprinted towards them. They didn't notice my presence until I was right behind them. I smash their two heads together which knocked them both out, I then stole one of their key's to access the elevator.

When getting into the elevator I checked the camera's and saw that two more people were planning on going up, I detached the roof of the elevator and hopped up so they wouldn't see me. I slip on magnetic glove and began to climb up into a vent and crawl into a lab room.

I check the layout of the building and this is where I was supposed to be, I pulled the USB from my bag and bypass the computer's password. Once I cracked the encryption on the system I was able to quickly start downloading the information files.

After The download was completed I could now retreat back to Deathstroke's hide out, back out of the city. Just as I turn back bot me and a security guard locked eyes, I stood still for a moment then pulled out his gun. "hey you! Hands up now!" he yelled pointing his gun at me. I quickly duck underneath the counter, he began to shoot.

The guard shot at multiple bottles the held multiple chemicals which cause them to explode onto me and releasing a strong vapor. After he stopped shooting I quickly got up and threw one of my knives directly at his throat. I shoved past him and began to book it to escape, my cover had been blown and it was only a matter of time till they contact Batman, or worse the Justice League.

I cover my face as I dive out the window from the seventh story, I use my magnetic glove at the last minute to avoid and injuries to my legs. After I was out of the facility I hopped onto my bike and sped off. It was raining heavily which made it difficult for me to speed on the bike, I catch glimpse shadows moving in the sky, following me. "Damnit!" I cursed at myself and began to drive even faster.

As the speed increased my control on the bike was weakening, and I could feel myself getting drowsy for some reason. It might have to do with the chemicals that fell on my skin. I wasn't able to see that I was headed right for a car, as I crash I was sent flying into the street. I quickly get back up and book it. If I got caught there no telling what Deathstroke would do to me.

I looked back and saw Batman was now chasing me from the street, "come on faster!" I yelled at myself. I turn a corner and ran straight into an unknown person, I tried to move but they grabbed me. "Going somewhere?" a male voice said, as I look the them I was it was Batman's sidekick.

He was overall shorter than me but this kid had a firm grip onto my wrists, I had only one choice for getting away which was to kick him as hard as I can in the shin.
I run into an alleyway and climb up the fire escape, onto the rooftops. I tried to create some distance between me and The Bat but they were still right behind me "Stop ow! You won't get away!" yelled a very squeaky voice.

As i was running I saw the sky light up for a second, the next thing I know the world seemed to be moving almost as if it was slowed down. I felt a rush of electricity strike my body down as I was traveling to the next roof top.

Gravity began to weigh on me. I missed the jump and was now falling off a seven story building, my life seem to flash before my eyes. I was able to remember what my mom and brother looked like again. It had been so long since a seen that. I had almost forgot. If this is how i die then so be it.

Just then someone had caught me, it was Batman. he set me down on the ground carefully and began to try to interrogate me. I was to tired to even answer, my vision got blurry and it was getting hard to stay awake. "Hey hold on! Stay with us" yelled Robin just as I passed out
