I wrote this story about 3 years ago, and I feel like I have improved as a writer and also discovered Grammarly (thank fucking god) - I will not be significantly changing anything about the plot, just tweaks and add-ons here and there when I feel is needed, and feel free to still read as I am making edits, it will not take too long! I will update once all of the edits are completed.

Surprise, it's a new, full story!
I wrote this story on my own time, off Wattpad- and I wanted to share it.
A few things about "What The Heart Wants"
1. It is a mature story. It deals with topics such as depression, medications and dependency, suicide, and sexual assault. There is mature language and sexual scenes.
2. This story is in a made-up country. Imagine a place where cell phones and the internet do not exist- but it is still modern day. I wanted to make this a cross between times without those things, but still have the story have a modern-day feel to it if that makes any sense 😂
