In the following day, Omega and the Lyoko Warriors went about their day as normally as they could while waiting for XANA to strike. As they went to their classes, Omega was more than eager to continue the investigation onto her parents. One day in science class, Mrs. Hertz was giving a lesson on the Periodic Tables. While Omega did her best to focus, she was unable to keep her mind off the investigation. Soon enough, Mrs. Hertz was quick to notice this.
Mrs. Hertz: Omega? Is something the matter?
Omega: N....nothing, Mrs. Hertz!
Mrs. Hertz: It seems you're having difficulty focusing, Miss Omega.
Omega: I'm...I'm sorry. It won't happen again!
Odd: Aw give her a break, teach! Being the new kid is all sorts of nerve wracking! Don't worry Omega, your old pal Odd here will help ease your new kid worries!
Mrs. Hertz: That....won't be necessary, Mr. Della Robbia. Omega, please try to focus.
Omega: R...right! It won't happen again!
With that, Omega was able to focus on the lesson and do the assignments without much difficulty. When class ended, Omega met up with the rest of the Lyoko Warriors in the hallways of Kadic.
Odd: Well that went well! Good thing you're the new kid or else you might've ended up with extra homework!
Yumi: Leave her alone, Odd. I'm sorry, Omega. Odd's mouth tends to move faster than his brain.
Omega: It's okay, Yumi. I actually find it quite charming!
Ulrich: Don't say that in front of Odd. You'll never hear the end of it.
As Omega and the Lyoko Warriors were about to walk to their next class, Omega looks out the window and notices something moving in the sky. At first, she thought it was a bird or a plane, but she noticed something strange about it. Smoke was seen trailing behind it. It wasn't long before the rest of the Lyoko Warriors notice this.
Odd: Huh. That's odd.
Ulrich: What is that?
Sensing something was off, Jeremy pulls out his laptop and checks in on Lyoko's status. As he does so, he gets an alert on his laptop.
Jeremy: Uh oh. XANA's activated a Tower!
Aelita: This is not good. We need to get to the Factory and deactivate it!
Ulrich: Guys? That thing is getting closer.
As the flying object comes closer, the other students begin looking out the window. Everyone was confused as to what the flying object. Soon enough, it became clear the the object in question seemed to be a person. Suddenly, something was fired from the object. Immediately, the Lyoko Warriors knew something bad was about to happen.
Omega: EVERYONE! GET DOWN!
As Omega said that, a rocket was fired into the school. The resulting explosion tore through the hallway, injuring a few students in the process. The object then flew through the window which was revealed to the the XANA possessed Exosuit on the experimental glider. The students began screaming in fear as they ran away. The Lyoko Warriors were in shock by what was going on.
Odd: Man XANA knows how to make an entrance!
Ulrich: What the hell is that thing?!
Jeremy: It...it has to be some kind of military grade exosuit!
Omega: But what's XANA doing with an exosuit?!
As Omega says this, the XANA possessed Exosuit turns it's attention towards Omega and the Lyoko Warriors.
Odd: I might have a guess.....
As the Exosuit was charging it's weapons, Jim jumps in and tackles the Exosuit.
Omega: Jim!
Jim: Get out of here! I'll handle this this!
Ulrich: Are you crazy?!
Jim: I'll take it from here! I'll use my Special Forces training to subdue this assailant! The rest of you get to safety! NOW GO!
Left with no other choice, Omega and the Lyoko Warriors fled while Jim stayed behind to fight the Exosuit.
Jim: All right, you costumed nutjob! You're not about to get one over Jim Morales! If you want those students, you've going to have to go through me!
As Jim attempts to fight the XANA possessed Exosuit, the Exosuit overpowers Jim and throws him against a wall, knocking him out. During the chaos, the Lyoko Warriors were able to slip away and make their way to the sewers. As they navigated through the sewers, Omega felt guilty about leaving Kadic behind.
Omega: This....this isn't right!
Jeremy: There's nothing we can do at this state! The best thing we can do is reach Lyoko and deactivate the Tower!
Odd: I think it's safe to say that we're gonna need a Return To The Past! Though I have to hand it to XANA, he certainly knows how to make an entrance!
Ulrich: Let's just hope XANA didn't blow up the Factory before attacking Kadic!
Yumi: We need to find out what that thing is!
Jeremy: Once we reach the Factory, I'll try to dig up whatever I can on that Exosuit! Knowing XANA, I doubt he'll make things easy on us!
Omega: We....we have to stop it before it hurts anyone else!
Aelita: And we will stop it! We just need to deactivate the Tower!
With that, Omega and the Lyoko Warriors rushed to the Factory. Meanwhile, the XANA possessed Exosuit continued tearing through the school in search for the Lyoko Warriors. As it does, it stopped as the experimental battery powering the Exosuit began to heat up. After bypassing the safeguards, the XANA possessed Exosuit exits Kadic Academy and begins heading towards the Factory, leaving Kadic in ruins as students and staff rushed out of the academy to safety. In that moment, the Exosuit had now been turned into a ticking time bomb.
