As the Lyoko Warriors began making their way to the Tower, Ulrich and Yumi moved through the vents until they were able to reach the classroom where Hiroki and a group of students were hiding. The XANA controlled Wolf continued to charge at the door in an attempt to get inside. Seeing that the coast was clear for now, Ulrich and Yumi climbed down the vent and into the classroom.
Hiroki: Yumi!
Hiroki rushed over to Yumi and hugged her.
Yumi: Are you okay?!
Hiroki: I...I'm okay....but that Wolf is....
Ulrich: You all need to get out of here. It's not safe in here.
Hiroki: But...where can we hide?
Yumi: Hiroki, I need you to get everyone into the dorms. Ulrich and I will try to lure the Wolf away from you.
Hiroki quickly noticed Yumi's wounds.
Hiroki: Yumi....your back...
Yumi: Don't worry about me. Just get out of here!
Ulrich then opened the window to let everyone out.
Ulrich: The door won't hold forever! Get out of here!
The students climbed out the window. Hiroki was hesitant to leave his sister behind, but she managed to convince Hiroki to leave. As the classroom was emptied, Ulrich and Yumi turned to the door that the XANA controlled Wolf was still trying to break down.
Ulrich: We need to keep Fido busy here to buy Hiroki and the others time.
Without hesitation, Yumi and Ulrich began barricading the door with every desk in the classroom. They then pushed a bookshelf down to add to the barricade. Meanwhile back on Lyoko, Omega along with Aelita and Odd made their way to the Activated Tower where a large gathering of XANA's Monster surrounding the Tower.
Odd: Man....XANA wasted no time in arranging a welcoming committee for us. And here I am without the snacks.
Omega: There's....there's so many of them! There's no way we can take on all those Monsters! We'd get devirtualized before we even made a dent!
Aelita surveyed the area where both the Tower and XANA's Monsters were. There were plenty of structures that could be used to take out multiple groups of XANA's Monsters, but that would still leave them hopelessly outnumbered.
Aelita: If we're going to win this, we need to be smart. Those ice structures should be able to thin out XANA's Monsters. Jeremy, we'll need a vehicle for Odd and Omega.
Jeremy(Voice): Not a problem. Sending the Overboard now.
After a moment, the Overboard was virtualized. Odd got on the board and got it going.
Odd: This baby should have enough room for you, Omega. I'll keep the board steady while you shoot those ice. And if things get a little dicey...some Laser Arrows should do the trick.
Omega: But what about Aelita?
Without hesitation, Aelita waved her hands and sprouted wings. After that, Odd began riding the Overboard towards XANA's Monsters. Omega takes aim with her Energy Bow and fires it at an ice structure. The arrow breaks the ice structure, causing it to drop down and destroy several of XANA's Monsters. Aelita swooped in and fires an Energy Field which broke another ice structure, causing it to crash onto another group of XANA's Monsters. The path to the Tower was soon cleared.
Odd: Nice shot, Omega! This'll be easier than I thought!
But as Odd said that, a blaster shot destroys the Overboard, causing them both to be launched into the ground. As they got up, Odd could see a group of Tarantulas about to fire on Omega. Odd then fires his Laser Arrows at the group, causing the Monsters to turn on Odd and fire. The barrage of blaster fire depleted Odd of his Life Points.
Omega: Odd!
As XANA's Monsters were about to open fire on Omega, Aelita stepped in and formed a protective barrier in front of her.
Aelita: I'll hold them off! Get to the Tower!
Aelita: What about you?
Aelita: Deactivating that Tower is all that matters! Hurry!
Without hesitation, Omega made a run for the Tower. As Aelita holds off XANA's Monsters, they eventually overwhelm Aelita's barrier and fired a volley of blaster fire at Aelita, depleting her Life Points. Knowing time was short, Omega made a run for the Tower while the rest of XANA's Monsters prepared to fire on Omega. She narrowly made it inside the Tower when the Monsters open fired. Once inside the Tower, Omega began the Deactivation Progress. Back in Kadic, Ulrich and Yumi waited for the XANA controlled Wolf to break down the door. The XANA controlled Wolf soon broke down the door and jumped over the barricade. As it laid eyes on Ulrich and Yumi, the XANA controlled Wolf growled. Without hesitation, Ulrich attacked the Wolf with a chair.
Ulrich: Over here, Fido!
As Ulrich attacked the Wolf, the XANA controlled Wolf overpowered Ulrich and blasted him away. The XANA controlled Wolf then corners Yumi. All Yumi could do was back away in fear as the Wolf got closer and closer. Back on Lyoko, Omega eventually finished the Deactivation Process, deactivating the Tower.
Omega: Tower deactivated.
Back in Kadic, Ulrich slowly got up from XANA's attack and saw the Wolf about to attack Yumi. At the last possible minute, XANA's essence left the Wolf, freeing the Wolf from XANA's control. The Wolf then looks at Yumi. As if on instinct, Yumi pets the Wolf. After doing so, the Wolf hops out the window and leaves Kadic. Back in the Supercomputer Room, Jeremy sees the Tower's deactivation.
Jeremy: Return To The Past now!
With that, Jeremy launches the Return To The Past. This undoes the damage caused by the Wolf. In that moment, the Lyoko Warriors stopped yet another plot from XANA.
