School Touring

"Have you seen her yet?"

"No, but I heard she's hot."

"You think everyone's hot."

"I Heard she was a nerd."

"Shit- teachers coming."

With a big yawn, I raise my head from my desk and stretch a little. It was currently the second period of the day and I decided to take a quick little nap before class started.

The classroom doors burst open as the science professor walked in. "Good morning class," He said, Clearing his throat he added, "as you all may have heard, we are gaining a new student with us today, please treat her with kindness and respect as we welcome her to our school."

Abruptly, he looked at me as my head was lolling up and down and said in a stern tone, "(Y/n) I hope you remember to show her all the important places our school has to offer."

Snapping out of my daze I looked at him wide-eyed thinking.

Oh shit... that was today.

"Uh wh- oh yeah of course!" I stammered looking around, some students laughed quietly as the professor sighed shaking his head.

"Anyways, you can come in now," he called out.

Hesitantly walking in, a girl around my age stood at the doorway looking around the class before looking down shyly. Slowly she walked in front of the class and gazed back up again, locking eyes with me she blushed and quickly averted her eyes.

"Hello everyone I'm Connie... Connie Maheswaran," she said.

The other students greeted her as I gave her a quick once-over. She wore jean shorts and a white blouse she had dark brown hair and chocolate-like skin. But what stood out most were those eyes-- they were pure dark, free without glasses, a dark endless void.

"Thank you Connie you make take a seat now, (Y/n) please take Connie on a tour of our school once it's lunch," The professor said snapping me out of my thoughts.

Oops missed the rest of her introduction but ill get to know her later.

Connie took the free seat next to me and pulled out her books. I side glanced and noticed she really did look like a nerd, She had extra books for the curriculum that no other student had, and a notebook filled with notes as if she's been here for the whole year. Noticing I've been staring for a while I look back up at the board and start taking notes.

"Alright, class is dismissed everyone have a good day," the professor said. I started packing my books as all the other students followed too.

"Hey, your (Y/n) right?" I noticed it was the new girl and I turned towards her.

"Yup," I said popping the p, "looks like I got the job of giving you a tour of our school."

"Oh, sorry if it's a bother to you, I can find my way around," she said guiltily.

"Nah it's fine," I said putting on my bag, "I didn't mean it in a bad way."

"Alright thank you, here you should probably take this," she says handing me her schedule.

Reading it over, Connie and I have two classes together: Science and Math.

"Alright, let's go," I say grabbing Connie's hand.

Connie and I walk out of class into the packed hallway, the hallway was packed with kids at each side rummaging through their lockers. I manage to push through the swarm of kids as I lead Connie hand in hand towards our first stop.
