Chapter 6

“Hwang Hyunjin.” Ji Yung stopped midway. “I believe in you.” She assured him.

These words were enough to fill his heart with warmth and he felt somewhat, a satisfaction. She was the new Managing Director of Stray Kids. And she believes in Hyunjin. He found it kind of unreal. Why would she believe in him? She barely knew him, but still, his heart felt at ease, now he didn't feel that empty anymore.

"Miss Ji Yung," he started. She trned around to look at him. "Who.....carried me here from the rooftop?"

She pursued her lips and sighed. "I saw you there and called Seo Jin and Hyun Gi. They're both my secretary. They carried you here."

She saw me. Hyunjin thought.
She saw me on the verge of having a breakdown. He lowered his head slightly. She saw me on having a break down twice. Hyunjin's ears turned red in embarrassment.

Ji Yung caught sight of his ears and rushed to him. "Wae?!! Is your fever coming back?!!" She lifted his face and checked his temperature on the forehead while Hyunjin's face turned even more red.

He blushed being so close to a woman, after such a long time, and his eyes turned to her lips. He realised he was staring at them. His eyes widened in realisation when he saw her clothes were almost see through. His heart almost jumped out and he covered himself with the blanket infront of him.

What's wrong with you?!!! Are you a pervert or something?!! He thought to himself.

Ji Yung was just confused at this gesture. "Hyunjin-ssi, are you not feeling well? Look at your face, It's so red!!" She asked worriedly. "Should I call in the doctor again?!"

"N-NO!! I- I am just sleepy. Could you p-please l-leave me alone for s-sometime." He stuttered.

Ji Yung sighed in relief and got up from her seat, making her way out of the room. What's with him? She thought.

Meanwhile Hyunjin couldn't keep his thoughts away from her lips. When she leaned in to check her temperature, or when she had touched his forehead and lightly lifted his strands of hair away. His breath had hitched. He turned around aggressively and held the pillow tighter. Ugh. Ugh.

His heart skipped a beat as he covered his eyes with one of his hands, still lying on the bed.

Lee Ji Yung, how did you manage to drive me crazy in just a few seconds? Why do you remind me of her?

The boy closed his eyes and he knew he was going to sleep soundlessly for the first time this month.

But still something bothered him.

POV

Lee Ji Yung

"What's wrong with him?" I whispered as I got out of the room. I felt a cold breeze and goosebumps of my hands and neck. I sneezed. My head was slightly throbbing too. Then I remembered, I had forgot to change my clothes. They were still wet and I had totally forgotten about them and they were see through-

My eyes almost fell out of my sockets.

Thank God no one noticed.

I heard the door behind me screech.

I turned around to see Hyunjin standing there looking at me.

"Weren't you gonna rest? Is something wrong?" I asked him confused.

He wobbled closer to me and handed me a black pullover and slammed the door on my face. I blinked thrice.

What just happened? I questioned myself. Does he want me to wash it for him?

Wait. I stopped dead in my tracks. Fuck. I realised. HYUNJIN NOTICED MY SEE THROUGH CLOTHES. I blushed in embarrassment.

"Miss Ji Yung!!"

"Ahhhh!!!!!" I squealed. "AISHJJ, Seo Jin-ah!!! You shouldn't scare me like this." I put my hand on my chest. My heart almost jumped out of my ribcage.

I sneezed again.

"Miss Ji Yung." Seo Jin-ah glared at me. "Why haven't you changed into fresh clothes yet?"

"Miss Ji Yung." I imitated him. "Miss Ji Yung. Like can't you call me Ji Yung or Noona. I've told you hundred times." I grumbled while Seo Jin sighed.

Ji Yung looked at the black pullover and covered herself with it.

I wonder if Hyunjin remembers me? She sighed.
