Meeting Eren Jeager

NARRATOR'S POV

You woke up the next morning feeling tired; well that was normal after killing who knows how many Titan's. Not only that but you pushed yourself even more by insisting Hanji that you would take her back home. However you would be lying if you said it wasn't necessary. In fact it was.... you needed her by your side... you needed to hear her voice.... her laugh..... see her smile.... her eyes. It was necessary.

You got up and washed your face and put your uniform on. Although it was still early you decided that you would either buy an apple or buy fresh bread from the bakery. But in the end you decided to go to bakery that was in Wall Sina. After all that's we're you were going after visiting the training grounds.

You began to make you're way towards the training grounds on your horse. It would be a pain in the ass if you went there, then went to Wall Sina AND then to the Survey Corps' HQ. As you rode a cross the village you heard people talk, some talked about family, some about money; but the majority talked about the attack on Trost and how humanity had their first victory. You heard how they praised the Survey Corps and the Garrison Scouts. However something caught your attention and that was how people were talking about Eren Jaeger.

Few people praised him... but the majority despised him. Those who despised him would say without shame how they hopped hey we're dead or that he we're executed. Hearing how much hatred people could have towards this boy only made you ride faster. Although you didn't know anything about him you still wanted him to live. And there it was that unecessary feeling to protect him when you only knew his name.

Soon you got to the training grounds. Looking at them made your heart ache as memories began to fill your mind. You began to remember how you're friends would always find a way to get in trouble or how they would drag you around to goof off with them. How they slowly began to bring back your smile.... but that alas you it would die again.... why? Because they died. One by one they died. Soon you were snapped out of your thoughts.

'May I help you Commander Y/N?' said a voice you knew all you well. It was none other than your old Commander Keith Shadis. However he looked nothing like before; he was now bald and had a beard on his chin; he also looked tired. 'Something you need?' he asked in a demanding tone. Well his attitude didn't change not one bit.

'Yes I do Shadis' you said in a serious tone. 'I need see some files on Eren Jaeger. I need to know everything about him' you continued. Looking at Keith you could see the same tiredness you had in his eyes. However unlike you he never locked himself up from the world, but then again he didn't propose an idea that would send thousands of people towards their death.... for nothing.

'I'm assuming you want to be in favor of Jeager and let him live' Keith said looking through you're soul. He saw the storm of emotions that was deep within you're soul..... hatred, anger, guilt, fear, grief, sadness, fear, happiness, love..... you're emotions were a mess. That was something he had never seen in anyone's eyes before.... not even his.

'Yes Shadis. Yes I am' You said in a serious tone. You had millions of thought's going through you're head. Some were the thoughts you had every day..... like how am I still alive?.... People are dead because of me.... Will my smile last forever if it's ever brought back again?.... Do I deserve love?.....

'Well then let's get going. We don't have all day' Shadis said as he began to walk away. He wondered if this "Power" Eren had would benefit mankind or would it cause the end of Mankind. Online time could tell.

When you got to his office you began to look around. Everything looked exactly the same as it was when you were training. You continued to remember the scoldings you would get from you're Commander for not being able to be put.
