(I) Chapter 12.5 - Moments

[Fumia's POV]

"Onee-chan?" I heard Hanna waking me up and I can feel her touching mine.

My energy was completely depleted after what happened last night. We needed to rush Hanna to the Hospital so her symptoms would at least be alleviated.

"Hanna, how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling better now. Thank you Onee-chan."

"It's alright. What's important is that you're doing okay." I smiled at her.

A couple of minutes later, Mom arrived.

"Fumia, you're finally awake."

"Morning mom. Did you have some sleep?"

"Yes, don't worry about it."

"So, do we have any news about Hanna?"

"The doctor said that she needs to stay here for a couple more days so they can closely monitor her."

"I see. If that's what the doctors said, let's just follow them."

Saturday night arrived and I'm currently working on the club. I was about to go home when Machido stopped me.

"Fumia, where are you going?"

"Home? My times over right?"

"If it's the usual, yeah."

"What could you possibly mean by that?"

"You see, your little sister is staying at the hospital and that's not cheap. You get what I'm saying?"

"What? You want me to stay here longer?"

"Bingo! You're really smart Fumia! Stay for four more hours and you're good."

"WHAT!? It's almost 12! I already rendered more time than usual!"

"We can just send Hanna home. That's not a problem for me."

"You're really rotten to the core."

"And you're really sweet Fumia." He winked at me and just gave me his rotten grin.

Since I don't have a choice, I stayed longer just like what he told me. After my shift was finally over, I head straight to the Hospital so I can check on Hanna and watch over her. For the past couple of days, I have been sleeping in the room where Hanna stays so I can be by her side.

I arrived in her room and I found her sleeping. It was almost dawn and I can already feel the exhaustion. I just gave Hanna a kiss on her forehead and I slept on the couch.

"Onee-chan!"

"Hmm?" I can hear a faint voice.

"Onee-chan wake up!"

I heard Hanna trying to get my attention.

"Hanna? What's wrong?"

"I'm alright Onee-chan but look at the time."

I checked the clock hanging in the room and found that it was almost 11 in the morning.

"It's almost afternoon but Goodmorning Hanna" I smiled at her.
