[Nino's POV]

Summer break already started and I decided to give more time to my part-time work so I can earn more since me and (Y/N) already found a place to stay. He got a job where he was endorsed by his coach to a friend where he will teach some Tennis lessons to kids during summer.

The good thing about the place we got is that it's not far from our universities and it's not far from where I work; the cost isn't that high either so it makes it even better.

"Manager, thanks for today! I'm going home!" I exclaimed as I head outside.

"Thank you as well! Take care!"

Since it was already time to go home, I decided to head straight to our place since I would like to prepare some dinner for my boyfriend. After some time, I arrived at our place. As I open the door, I can already smell something cooking.

"Babe? I'm home!" I uttered while heading inside.

I walked towards the kitchen and I saw him already cooking our dinner.

"Hey, I thought I'd be the one cooking dinner?" I playfully pinched his cheek.

"Ow! Well... I just thought I'd do it from time to time. I got nothing to do anyway." He turned to me and kiss me on the forehead.

"Jeez... Alright, I'll allow it just for tonight, but I'll be the one to cook breakfast for tomorrow, got it?" I smiled at him.

He smiled back and replied, "Alright."

I got changed right after and head back so we can both have our dinner. I looked at the table and it was already set up by him.

"Okay, let's eat?" He said while handing me a plate he just put my food at.

"Yup, thanks!"

While eating dinner, I asked, "What time will you be out tomorrow?"

"Well, early in the morning. I want to jog for a bit then head out after taking a quick shower."

"I see."

"You want to jog with me?"

"I can do that. But I'll wake up ahead of time so I can prepare your things."

"It's okay, you don't have to."

"I insist and you don't have a say to it."

"It's just that..." He seemed troubled.

"What?"

"It feels like you might be overworking yourself for me..."

"How did you come up with that?"

"Well, you could just be relaxing when you don't have work but you're doing all those things for me. Don't get me wrong though, I'm really grateful for everything."

I grinned at him and said, "Your pride just can't take it."

"Well... I guess that's part of it?"

"That's fine." I placed my hand on top of his and continued, "I'm doing all these things because I wanted to. I'm enjoying the setup we have. It's like a practice. Especially when we start to have a family of our own. Doing all these things gives me joy. Besides, I get bored sometimes when I don't have anything to do so don't feel so special!"

We both chuckled after my statement and just continued to finish our dinner.

Morning came and I set the alarm clock so I can wake up earlier than my boyfriend. I prepared a quick breakfast for both of us before we head outside. While I was cleaning up some of the utensils, I felt him wrapping his arms around my waist.
