Ch.1: The Transfer

Sanctum, Sanctuary North American Branch

IT WAS MORNING.

A woman stepped out a portal, she had pale skin and 3 freckles on her right cheek, red eyes that almost had a hostile feeling to them and straight long blond hair that stopped halfway at her waist. She wore light armor that was painted blue only covering her chest, forearms and legs. She had a sword sheathed on her waist and a crossbow strapped behind her back, along with throwing knives bound around her ankles.

She was greeted by a certain Elder Dragon.

Hey Thorn congrats on your mission it has been a while.

"Yeah you are right on the mark Jodas. Glad they gave me 3 days of rest, preventing bond assassinations from happening is a hard task."

Another dragon fell from above and landed right before Thorn.

"Crystal!"

Although she is an ice dragon, she had 2 transparent crystals as horns, very clear blue scales and pitch black pupils with 2 clear blue wings with a lot of scars on it. Crystal is known to have a weird genetic magical mutation that can change her form that makes her bipedal.

Thorn my favorite human!

Crystal lowered her head and Thorn caressed her.

"Thank you for helping me through all those difficult times girl."

No worries I will always fight along with you even if I am not there as I am your bound dragon after all.

Thorn gave Crystal a slight smile, When Jodas moved closer to Thorn.

"What is it, Jodas?"

I got a message for you to go to the Leader's office at this moment, also when you were gone a lot of interesting things happened.

"As what?"

You shall figure it out pretty soon.

"If you say so... anyway bye Crystal, might see you around depending on the circumstances!"

Bye!

Crystal nodded and took off.

"Bye Jodas!"

Bye Thorn, and why do you always have to respond out loud?

"I don't know, it's just a me thing I guess."

With that Thorn left the sanctum and walked across the field where a girl was cursing people out in Spanish for being lazy.

She never changes huh?

As Thorn walked closer she started observing and took note of something.

I noticed that there are more Paladins surveilling the area than normal, that could only mean one thing.... Wait, I should not jump to conclusions that quickly.

Thorn entered the castle and walked through the courtyard up the stairs up to the second floor where the entrance of the Paladin Leader's Office was. Thorn opened the door but was met with an unknown lady wearing black glasses, had short hair and green eyes.

Wait what is this?!

"Hmmm Lady? Where is Xander?"

Thorn looked around.

And I don't see Ioana either.

The Lady stared at her and started to answer here.

"Well.. A while back Xander got kidnapped by a certain Shadow Knight called Peter. We also noticed that it has to do with the 3rd seal and that battle is currently ongoing as we speak."
