Faith with her duty for today and went home where Prince was awaiting her in the living room, on the table before him were a bottle of red wine and 2 glasses. Faith got ahead and sat next to him sighing.
"You seem tired." Prince noticed.
"Yeah checking the Ilidium Storage Report is super time consuming."
Prince served Faith and himself some wine and started to drink some, however every time she glanced at him, he seemed to have a worried expression on his face.
"Dear what's on your mind?"
"You know, I start to wonder if sending those 7 people over there was the right thing to do."
'Well it's not like we had another choice as most of our Paladins went to South Africa and with the other branches being relatively stable and even with the 3rd seal situation they are unable to send in extra forces, so retracting the extra security they still have enough to transfer or lend to us."
"Yeah that might be true honey, but I wonder if all of this even matters. I noticed that we keep taking loss after loss, the 2nd seal operation failed, the 3rd seal is now broken too and the Shadow Knights are attacking vital points of our resources, massively taking terrain as we speak."
Prince's face and voice was filled with frustration.
"Sometimes I just don't know what to do anymore."
Faith couldn't help but to get hit with that reality as a painful expression showed up on her face, but she slept herself and stood up from the couch.
"Well I say for certain that things haven't been fair for us and the balance the Sages are preaching about doesn't make any sense. I will bring out the good in everyone as well as my enemies, even if it costs my life. Because that is what it is to be a Paladin, to keep fighting for a brighter future."
Prince's face lit up and stood up hugging her.
"This is exactly why I fell in love with you."

Prince Mahlangu is a Paladin Teacher, is the husband of Faith and is 30 years old. He has short curly light brown hair and tanned skin with dark brown eyes. Wears a red casual outfit most of the time. And hold the aqua affinity while his dragon called Boldus has earth affinity.
