Btw, Varian's Pokemon team is: Umbreon, Minccino, Reuniclus, Magnemite, Lycanroc, and Phantump.
Y/n's Pokemon team is: Raboot, Sylveon, Pikachu, Gardevoir, Alcremie, and Meowstic.
Being a Pokemon Trainor was hard work; especially for Y/n. Some of her teammates needed more help than others, which was ok, but it tired her out sometimes.
Her favorite part about being a Pokemon Trainor was playing with her Pokemon and making curry for them.
"What kind of curry do you want tonight, Raboot?" Y/n asked her faithful starter Pokemon.
Raboot pointed to Y/n bag of apples.
"Apple curry sounds wonderful. Thanks, Raboot!"
Raboot shrugged and went over to talk to Meowstic. As Y/n stirred the pot of curry, she couldn't help but feel frightened of the strange noises that surrounded the Glimwood Tangle.

I guess that's what I get for choosing to spend the night here, Y/n thought to herself.
Y/n's Sylveon nuzzled her soft face on Y/n's arm, as if to say that everything was going to be alright.
"I hope we'll stay safe out here tonight, Sylvie," Y/n wished as she pet Sylveon. "We'll just have to keep an eye out for danger."
When Y/n had finished making the apple curry, she equally distributed it among her Pokemon team. She couldn't help but smile when she saw how happy her team was at that moment. However, the moment didn't last for long. There were loud noises coming from a nearby bush.
Y/n and her Pokemon tensed up and silently waited as the russtles continued. Then, a figure burst out of the bushes and ran towards Y/n.
"Wh-what are you-"
"Shh! I don't want that thing to get me," the person interrupted. It was a boy around Y/n's age! He had flowy, black hair with a single blue stripe in it. He also had freckles that dusted his face in an adorable manner.
"What 'thing' are you talking about?" Y/n asked the boy.
"It's a little goblin thing," the boy explained. "It started chasing me when I went to check it out."
"Do you need me to send out Raboot to go get it?" Y/n offered.
"No, no. I don't want it to come after me," the boy refused.
New noises followed what the boy had said.
"Crap! It's coming!" He whispered.
All of a sudden, a Pokemon popped out of the bushes and gave the two Trainers an evil grin.
Y/n began to laugh. "That's just a Morgrem! Why are you so scared?"
"Can't you see that thing is terrifying?" The boy shivered.
"No, not really. I'll just scare it off," Y/n replied. "Raboot, can you use Flame Charge, please?"
Raboot nodded and obeyed Y/n instructions. The Morgrem ran away in terror.
"What's your name? Mine is Y/n." Y/n held out her hand to help the boy stand up.
"I'm Varian," the boy answered. "That Raboot of yours is really cool."
"Thank you! Would you like some curry while you're here? I have leftovers," Y/n gushed.
"Yeah, definitely!" Varian smiled.
Time Skip
Since that day, Y/n and Varian had been traveling together on their Pokemon journey for around a month. They had completed the gym challenge and were on their way to battle Champion Leon.
"I believe you can win this, Varian," Y/n encouraged. "I know that you'll do your best."
"Thank you. I hope you do great as well," Varian nodded.
It was Varian's turn to battle Leon. If he won, than he would be the new Champion of the Galar region. A lot of pressure was put on the two, especially with all their rivals like Bede (an adorable cinnamon roll ❤️), Marnie, Hop (another adorable cinnamon roll ❤️), Gloria, and Victor.
As Y/n observed Varian's battle against Leon, she closely studied Leon's strategy. She wanted to do her best during her battle. Sadly, Varian was on his last Pokemon by the time Leon brought out Charizard. His poor Umbreon didn't stand a chance and it made Y/n feel sad.
When Varian's Umbreon fainted, Y/n could see Varian turn around and head back to the waiting room after shaking hands with Leon. He looked miserable.
"Varry, wait up!" Y/n called out. "You did great out there."
"Thank you," Varian muttered with disbelief.
"No, I'm serious. You really did great out there," Y/n insisted. She wrapped Varian up into a hug and he gladly hugged her back.
"Promise me you'll do better?" Varian asked Y/n sadly.
"I'll try my best," Y/n promised.
Time Skip
Finally, it was Y/n's turn. Her heart was pounding in her chest as she made her way to the middle of the stadium. There, Leon greeted her.
"Y/n, is it? I know you'll do amazing in this battle no matter the outcome," Leon said.
"Thank you, Leon, Sir. I'll do my best," Y/n agreed.
Then the battle began. The first Pokemon that Leon brought out was Aegislash, which Y/n defeated with her Gardevoir. His next was Haxorus, which proved more difficult to beat with Sylveon, but it was done. After going through Dragapult, Mr. Rhyme, and Inteleon, Y/n only had Raboot left. Then Leon brought out Charizard.
"Good luck, Y/n! I hope you can take our best moves through a Dynamax round!" Leon shouted. He activated his Dynamx wristband and Dynamaxed Charizard. Y/n did the same with her Raboot.
"Raboot, use Max Flame!"
"Charizard, use Max Airstream!"
The intense battle continued until Raboot used his finishing move to knock Charizard unconscious.
Y/n had just won.
A loud explosion of cheering could be heard from all around Y/n. A single tear rolled down her cheek out of shock and pure excitement. She had beat the unbeatable Champion Leon!
"Citizens of the Galar Region, you have a new Champion!" Leon cried. He raised Y/n's arm into the air as the crowd cheered some more.
"Y/n, that was incredible! You won! You won!" Varian burst. He tackle-hugged Y/n.
"I know! This is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me!" Y/n agreed. Suddenly, she felt the urge to kiss Varian.
Varian kissed back passionately and the two stuck together for the rest of their Pokemon journey.
