— Can you put on some clothes? — Levi was wearing some of his home clothes and sitting in the armchair, watching you boil tea for the two of you. He never wore his home shirts so they were in perfect state. He brought a simple long-sleeve shirt and some brown trousers to your room, because you wouldn't allow him to stay in there in his uniform for more than 15 minutes. So, he was forced to change if he wanted to stay longer. He tried to fight your position but you didn't look for compromises when it came to your home.
You, on the other hand, you had a huge box full of home garments, cotton robes, silk trousers and cozy socks and stockings of all kinds. All in the five colours you preferred the most. Levi found it very amusing that you wore only five simple colours and never let anyone put you in anything different. The only exception you ever made was your horseback riding practice when you decided not to ruin your expensive clothes, produced by the finest sewers of Marley. Hanji once wondered how much money you had made as a journalist that you could afford all those expensive fabrics, but the scary look on your face made her immediately bite her tongue and remain silent. You knew, no one, and especially Levi, was to ever find out just how exactly you received all those things, including your clothes that he secretly admired. When you weren't looking, of course.
— What? You don't like my body? — you chimed, wearing proudly your best garment that you possessed.
— Someone might see you, — the captain carefully peered outside in the darkness of the silent buildings in which members of the survey corps were asleep a long time ago.
— Fine. I'll put on something. But not because you told me to. Because it's really cold to stay naked during autumn nights.
You took out a floor-length, navy blue, cotton robe. You wrapped yourself in it, casually tying the belt at the waist, so that Levi could see... well, everything. Then you took two cups of fresh-boiled tea, put them on the window table and flopped onto Levi's knees. You stretched out your legs on the armrest and Levi began to slowly caress your bare thighs. It was ticklish so you shivered and softly giggled from time to time to captain's poorly hidden delight.
— So, Levi, now that I saw you naked today and counted all your scars with my tongue. Huh, you're smiling again. I love your smile. Yes, now that all the necessary stuff is done, I think it's time for you to tell me about yourself. We've been fighting but never really talking. So, tell me. Who is Captain Levi?
— You first, — he murmured, without taking his eyes off your moonlighted skin.
— Huh... Okay. First, I wasn't born in Marley, my parents are neither Marleynians nor Eldians and I have nothing to do with your local war here.
— Wait... But you came here on a Marley's ship? — Levi shifted his concerned gaze to meet your eyes.
— Listen and don't interrupt.
— Sorry, — Levi chuckled, turning his head away from you.
— Oh my God. What was that?
— What?
— Just now. Was it? Is that even possible?
— What. The. Hell. Are you screaming all about?
— You laughed. I didn't know you were capable of it. Did I make you laugh? Yeah, I bet I did.
— Don't be weird.
— Huh, you got all embarrassed again. Oh, I just love how you get all emotional when around me.
— Stop.
— Why? I wanna make you laugh again. I'll dedicate my life to it.
— What a pathetic life goal.
