you and olivia had been best friends for years, the two of you had met when you were young. even after olivia's rise to fame, the two of you remained very close.

it was a saturday night and the two of you were getting ready to have yet another girls night.

usually the two of you would do your own makeup but today you asked olivia if she wanted to do each other's makeup.

"hey liv?" you asked setting down your hairbrush and looking into the vanity mirror to look at her.

"yeah?" she asked as she took her eyes off her phone and into yours through the mirror.

"we should do each other's makeup" you said turning around to look at her.

she let out a soft chuckle. "why?" she asked.

"i don't know just for fun?" you replied getting up from the seat and walking over to her.

you looked at her with puppy eyes hoping she'd give in.

it worked.

"ugh fine." she laughed.

you laughed as you walked over to grab an abundance of makeup that sat on her vanity.

she followed you as was ready to sit down on her vanity chair when you stopped her.

"no just go lay down on your bed, the chairs kinda low." you said

she looked at the tiny chair, "huh, it is small, i never noticed." she laughed before walking over to her bed and laying down.

you walked over to her on the bed and threw the makeup next to her.

you smiled as you climbed onto the bed.

"you're like way too excited for this y/n." she laughed as she watched you climb on top of her.

"reminds me of when we were younger." you said giving her a shrug.

you were on top of olivia looking into her eyes for a moment before grabbing her eyeshadow palette.

you opened it up and grabbed a makeup brush.

"so how's the new music coming?" you asked as you applied eyeshadow to the brush.

"oh and close your eyes please." you followed up before she could reply.

"honestly really good," she said as she closed her eyes.

"i can't wait to be able to release a new song, im a little nervous though." she said as you applied the glittery silver eyeshadow.

"why's that?" you asked as you pulled away the brush from her eyes and backed up from her face.

she opened her eyes and looked at you.

"i don't know, i feel like everyone is expecting so much from me, 'sour' was such a big success, what if what's next isn't? you know?" she said, as she watched you dab the brush back into the eyeshadow.

"yeah, but i mean so many people are going to listen to it either way because it's your music." you said as she closed her eyes once more as you applied eyeshadow to the opposite eye.

"you're probably right." she said opening her eyes and she felt you pull away.

"i'm always right." you said in a sarcastic tone as you shrugged.

"yeah right." she replied back as she rolled her eyes.

you only looked her in the eyes, not saying anything.

you never wanted to admit your feelings for olivia, the two of you grew up so close to each other and you didn't want to jeopardize that by telling her you liked her or anything of the sort.
