you and olivia sat in your living room rewatching twilight for the 3rd time this week, per your girlfriends request, of course.

the two of you sat in a comfortable silence until she spoke up.

"how come you don't post me," she asked still staring at the tv screen.

"what?" you asked taking your eyes off the movie and looking at your girlfriend who sat to your left.

she took a deep breath before readjusting her position putting her legs on the couch, sitting crisscrossed as she looked you in the eyes.

"i asked... 'how come you don't post me' y/n" she said trying her best not to let any emotions get the best of her.

"i- uh.. where's this coming from darling?" you asked as you completely turned yourself to face her.

"i don't know...you've just never posted me before and every time i ask if i can post a picture of us you ignore me... are you like...ugh, i don't know." she shrugged as she let out a sigh looking down trying her best to avoid your eyes.

"i mean why do you care so much, i don't have to post you, to show you i love you." you said putting your finger under her chin and lifting up her head.

her eyes were glossy, you didn't understand why she cared so much about this 'digital love' stuff.

"fine, whatever i was stupid to ask," she said in a rush trying to uncross her legs and fast as she could to scoot away.

you watched her as you cleared your throat and copied her movement facing back to the tv.

the two of you sat watching the movie not saying a word, the tension in the room was thick.

olivia cleared her throat and got up from the couch, "um..i think i gonna go, uh goodnight y/n" she said trying to make a run for the door.

"wait," you said as you grabbed her arm, causing her to look back at you.

"i'm sorry," you breathed out, "it's just... i don't know, but can we just talk about this, you're always trying to run away." you said looking up into her brown eyes.

she looked at the door and back at you, "i mean there's nothing to talk about," she said yanking her hand out of your grasp and taking 3 steps back.

"you're embarrassed of me, just say it." she said as her voice cracked.

you tilted you head as your eyes softened, "darling, im not embarrassed of you," you said getting up from the couch.

"it's just i've never seen the point, our friends know and that's always been enough for me, i just... didn't know it wasn't enough for you." you said as you slowly walked over to her.

she stayed quiet as you stood in front of her, her eyes were glued to the floor.

"i don't like how this is making me feel," she breathed out slowly looking up at you.

"what..uh what do you mean?" you asked raising an eyebrow at the girl.

"i don't know, it's just i know all that stuff online isn't real but it feels real to me," she said looking at you in the eyes.

"like i know i act like i don't really care but it's  hard not to feel like i'm never enough," she said as tears threatened to come pouring out her eyes.

"...never enough to be showed off." she continued in a much quieter and weaker voice.

you had nothing to say, instead you just hugged her hoping all those negative thoughts in her head would go away.

you felt her head snuggle into the crook of your neck as you heard her softly cry.

"i'm sorry baby, i never knew... you are enough... you've always been enough," you said rubbing circles on her back.

"i hate that i made you feel that way, angel."

you didn't hear a response, only a sniffle, and olivia pulled back from the hug.

"sorry, i don't know why i'm crying, this is so stupid." she said trying to act okay.

"you don't have to apologize for being honest," you said as you gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"i just never knew you felt that way about it, i promise from now on, i'll post about you... and us." you said before giving her a quick peck on the lips.

she simply smiled and nodded.
