Party Poison
Hours had passed and I was starting to get cramps. I hadn't eaten anything, had anything to drink and I was starting to feel dehydrated. I think I was already. I kept seeing strange images floating around my head. It was either that, or they were pumping me with drugs. God I hope that isn't what it is. “Can I have some water or something? I'm feeling really ill over here!” I said. I saw the Draculoids looking at each other and one of them walk out of the room. I knew who they were going to get and I knew I was in deep shit.
In the car
“Look alive sunshine” I heard someone say to me. I open my eyes and almost screamed when I saw Dr. D. He grinned at me and opened the door. I shook my head and glared at him. “So I've heard they took Gee then? Anyone know why exactly?” he asked. We shook our heads. “So you don't know why? What about when? Oh come on someone has to have an answer for this one!”
“Last night. He was taken last night. I had a dream as well and it was like I wasn't myself and I saw a room, a table and mirrors. There was a window and I could see buildings toward the edge of the city. Is that normal?” I asked. Everyone looked at me, trying not to laugh. I shot a look of death at them as they continued their conversation. I sighed and went off on patrol to make sure everywhere I was clear and we weren't being watched. I scuffed my feet along the floor and kept listening out and chewing my lip. When I saw everyone disband and head back to the car I walked over and asked them what happened. “We're going into the city and going to find him. Get in your coming with us” Frank said. I sighed and slipped into the back.
2 Hours Later
“You ok?”
“Yeah I guess. Just feeling a bit lonely is all” I sighed.
“Hey, you know I'm here for you ok?”
“Yeah I guess” I mumbled and looked out the window. I felt eyes on me and someone take my hand.
“You know I'm here for you. Tell me what's wrong?” he asked. I looked at him and I could see the worry and anger in his eyes. Anger that someone had taken his brother and worry for something more. It wasn't to do with his brother, at least I didn't think so, but for something more close to him. I looked around the car and fiddled with the handle on my gun with my free hand. “Please?” he sounded like he was begging. I sighed and looked at him.
“You wanna know what's wrong? I'm fed up of people treating me like an idiot! Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. I've had enough of everyone thinking that” I said. He just looked at me and sighed. I didn't mean to take it out on him it was an accident but I was just so angry. “Sorry” I mumbled. He squeezed my hand reassuringly and smiled slightly. I wanted to shoot someone or something. Thankfully we were going to find the Draculoids so I would be able to shoot them and feel better.
