“Excuse me?” I asked. He must have been lying. Why would anyone love me? I'm not the greatest person in the world, hell I must be the worst!
“The Kobra Kid is in love with you. It's not that difficult to see. The way he looks at you, protects you, defends you. He doesn't wanna share a room with anyone else but you. How do you not realise that?” he said. I thought about it and then thought back to being in the car going toward the city.
“Huh. News to me” I said. Gerard sighed and I felt bad but didn't want to say anything about it to him. I sighed and wondered if there would be a chance that we could probably hit it off without anyone having any issues with it. I almost laughed because I knew everyone would have a problem with it. I sighed and closed my eyes, hoping to eventually fall asleep. I knew I had hurt his feelings but I didn't want to listen to it any more. If I hurt them once I would never hear the end of it and he would complain for hours if he had his way.
I sighed and watched as she tried falling asleep. She couldn't understand that he was in love with her and it was something she needed to get to terms with. She couldn't understand that she was breaking his heart and I could see it in his face. We all could. He needed her like she needs him. I just laid there and thought about what might happen if something never happened between them. It would completely tear him apart an I know she wouldn't like it very much. I knew I would never be able to make her see sense so I thought it would be best just to leave her alone and let her get on with it. I just rested my head back and though of the others coming to rescue us.
We followed the drag marks until we got to a building. We looked up at the door and saw the BLInd sign. We looked at each other and took a deep breath. We knew we would probably find them in here and if we didn't then who knows where they were? “We need to go in and have a look and see if they are there.”
“You know that's basically suicide right?”
“I know but we can't just leave them there to suffer. Would you leave if it were the people you love?”
“No that isn't the point though is it?”
“Just do this with me ok? It's either this, give up and let them die or nothing.”
“OK, ok you got me. Let's just do this” Frank grumbled. I grinned and took a deep breath. I pushed the door and came face to face with the first of the Draculoids. I pulled out my gun and fired. Now it was time to come face to face with the people who took the two of them.
“What was that?”
“What was what?”
“I thought I heard something. Probably just imagining it to be honest. Going crazy being locked up” I laughed. Krista just grinned at me.
“Wait,” she said, listening carefully, “I can hear it as well. It's like... There's a fight going on. Do you think they've come to finally rescue us?” She asked. I tried to shrug and realised it was a stupid thing to attempt to do while being tied up. It only pulls on your arms and it hurts.
The noises were getting closer and we were starting to panic. All of a sudden, BANG! The doors flew open and there were shadows standing in the door way.
