I was starting to worry. They hadn't done anything to me, said anything and no one had come to rescue me. I was beginning to think that they didn't care about me any more. I sighed and just felt like giving up waiting. I didn't say anything to them and didn't even look at them. I just shut my eyes, wanting to go to sleep. I was also starting to get very uncomfortable laying on a solid table.
We pulled into the city and ended up having to abandon the car and walk the rest of the way to the building. We had found out his location and made sure that the guns were loaded. The boys walked on ahead and I walked behind, dragging my heels. I wasn't talking to Frank after we got into a tense argument in the car, Ray was just speeding on ahead and Mikey was walking with Frank trying to get him to calm down. Didn't seem to be happening any time soon by the looks of things. I sighed and kept walking, keeping an eye out for any signs of danger. It was deathly quiet and I was starting to worry about being ambushed. I shook off the feeling and kept walking. I felt something get put over my mouth and suddenly felt dizzy and tired and instead of fighting, my body just gave in.
“Hey, has anyone seen Krista?” I asked. I had turned around to go and talk to her and realised she wasn't there. I instantly panicked. When everyone shrugged, I knew that there was something wrong. Her gun and bandanna were on the floor but she wasn't there. She only used a bandanna because she didn't have a mask because she hated them. I walked over to where they were and saw drag marks on the floor. I had an instant fear of worry and panic. If she had been taken, she may have been taken to the same place as Gee. “Hey guys come here a sec will ya?” I called to them. They walked over to my position and saw the same drag marks.
“Maybe she's with them and with Gee” Ray suggested. I nodded and we decided to follow the drag marks.
“Wait a second. This could be a trap we need to take it with extreme caution” Dr. D said. We looked at each other and agreed. We kept all eyes on the sides, back and front and kept following the marks until they had stopped at the corner of a path. I felt anger and looked at the building opposite us. The tracks had stopped because she had been dragged in there. Then in there we will go.
I woke up and heard muffled screaming and the door open. I bought my head up and looked to see what was going on. I saw them drag someone into the room with a mask on the face and something muffling her voice. They pushed the body into the room and pulled the gag from the mouth off. “Oh you are in so much trouble when you untie my hands and get this mask off my face!” I recognised the voice and couldn't help but smirk when I realised who it was. “Dammit! I HATE MASKS!” she screamed as they tied her down and pulled the mask off her face.
“Hey good to see ya. How you doing?” I asked. She glared at me.
“If it wasn't for you then I wouldn't be here right now with a stupid fucking mask on my face!”
“Sorry” I grinned. She tried to flip me off and failed. “Anyway how come you got nicked and not the others? Where are they?”
“Their somewhere. God knows where but somewhere. Besides they don't care that I'm gone. As long as they get you back its fine really” she said, sighing. It was then I knew that she felt like nobody cared about her. I cared, Mikey cared, everyone cared. I knew how she felt though. I had been there before.
“Everyone cares about you as well. Especially Mikey. He practically loves you.”
