Nora's Pov

I am beyond frustrated right now. Liam would not let me go to meet up with Mina and I have to leave right now or else I would be late.

"Liam, I promise I won't be out too late, I'll be back before you know it," I said trying my hardest to negotiate my way out of this. His grip tightened around my waist and he nuzzled his face on my neck.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to stay with him but I haven't seen Mina in so long.

"Fine but I will be very upset if you're not back by 9," He huffed and got off of me, crossing his arms, and glaring at me. Jesus, this man is such a fucking child.

"You won't be, I lo-...I have to go, bye," I cleared my throat and kissed him goodbye, grabbing my purse and then walking out, closing the door with a semi-loud thud.

Fuck, I almost slipped up.

I don't want to tell him yet; I want to make it special for him. He doesn't know I made plans for us to have dinner on a sunset cruise so it's going to be another surprise.

I took the car that we rented for the days we were staying here and typed in the restaurant's name in the GPS.

It wasn't hard to find but I did make two wrong turns by accident. I don't know how I got lost when I had help, but it happened.

Anyway, I arrived exactly two minutes early and I spotted Mina on the far corner waving at me.

I returned a small wave and walked up to the booth only to be stopped midway by Mina sharing one of her famous big hugs. "Ahh! you're here!" She squealed, and hugged me tightly, making me laugh. I hugged her back and we looked at each other smiling from ear to ear.

Mina looked breath-taking. She wore a light pink floral mini dress and had her black wavy hair flowing down her shoulders.

I guess we both had a thing for mini dresses. I wore a plain lilac cottage core dress with my hair braided in two.

"Holy shit, you look amazing." Mina complimented me, goggling at my outfit. Gosh, the bitch just had to make me blush.

"Thank you, Min, do a twirl for me," I said to her, twirling my finger around signaling her to do the same. She smiled sweetly, flashing me her bright smile with pearly white teeth.

Mina was always a stunning person. Everywhere she turned, someone would instantly fall to their knees for her. She was unbelievably pretty and she knew her worth and the power she held.

There's no kidding how she got more beautiful now she was older and mature.

"So pretty, now let's eat, I am starving." She nodded and we headed over to the table taking a seat opposite each other. "So, how's your mom?" I asked Mina, starting off the conversation.

"She's great, she's been talking non-stop about Ms. C and how they've been planning to meet in two weeks!" she exclaimed, rambling on about my mom and hers.

I had no idea they were still talking but I'm happy for her, she's been single for way too long and I know she really likes Aria. Aria hates it when I talk formally with her, I miss her. so much.

"My mom didn't tell me anything but I did see her smiling at her phone whenever I visited her." I thought back to the time I met my mom in the coffee shop and we talked about everything new going on in our lives.

She was blushing every time she picked up her phone but I didn't think much of it. Damn, I'm an idiot, how can I not see that she was talking to someone??

"Mom didn't tell me either until I confronted her about it just a week ago, can you believe they've been in touch since the day you guys' left Maui?" My eyes are on the urge to pop out.
