Nora's Pov

I clutched onto Liam's shoulders, lightly shivering due to the cold waters rocking back and forth against my goose-bumped skin.

Liam held me tightly in his arms, my legs locked securely around his torso and my arms wrapped around his neck, pushing our bodies closer for some kind of warmth.

"You okay?" He asked, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. I nodded and lightly smiled, placing my head on his shoulder and sighed in ease.

God, I can't remember the last time I felt this relaxed.

If only I had a joint, this would've been such a vibe. Smoking in the water with the love of my life holding me in the water as I float and relax my mind even more.

Neither one of us uttered a word. We sunk in the water and swayed gently, soaking in the tranquil silence along with the waves crashing against each other other on the shore.

"Nora?" Liam said softly. I raised my head and gently kissed him on the cheek, "Potato Face," a light chuckle escaped his lips and fuck, I needed that.

His beautiful smile and intoxicating laugh.

"Why do you keep calling me that?" He whined while massaging my ass in the water. "I think it's cute, your face looks like a potato when I squish your cute cheeks,"

I smushed his cheeks and rubbed them together, Oh my god, he looks like a puffer fish. What if Ariel swims up for air and takes my pufferfish idiot away?

"Let's go home Li," I stood in the water and held onto Liam's hand. "Wait why?" I groaned and kept pulling him out of the water.

"Nora, I thought we were staying for 10 more minutes," Liam whined.

I stopped walking on the sand and turned to him. "I want to tie my soul with you, can we please do that?" I asked in a sweet tone while my begging hands were placed on the middle of my chest.

Liam cleared his throat and mumbled "mhm". I laughed and we both packed everything up and sashayed away to the car.

We got into the car and I felt a vibration on my thigh. I picked up my phone and my eyes widened. No fucking way.

My brother was calling me.

I haven't heard from him since I made things official with Liam. "Hi Nicky," I looked over and Liam and he held the same expression while he drove us home.

Liam knew about Nick and the fact that we haven't talked in months so I give him every right for that reaction. "Hey baby sis, happy birthday," He sang from the other side. I giggled and turned to Liam pointing to my phone with an excited look on my face.

He gave me a thumbs up and I turned my attention back to Nick. "Thanks Nickster, how have you been? how's Luna?" I asked.

"Everything's been great and I actually broke up with Luna, sorry I didn't tell you, I've been busy with work these past few months." I frowned at the news of him dumping Luna. He loved that girl, shit, he was fucking obsessed with her.

"Can I ask why you broke up with her?" He sighed.

"Apparently, she's been cheating on me since I got the new job I told you about. I work a lot in the night time and I guess she felt lonely? I don't know," He sounds so sad.

I mean obviously he'll be sad but he shouldn't over that waste of time bitch.

Can I kill her? I think it'll be a great idea if I do.

"Is everything okay babe?" Liam asked, reaching for my thigh and caressing my skin in a comforting way. "Luna cheated on Nick!" I exclaimed.

"Wha- Nora, who is that?" Oh, right.

"Oh well uhm, that's my boyfriend," Fuck, this is horrible timing.

"You have a boyfriend? Nora, my idiotic sister who thought she would never fall in love again and would die in a world of loneliness, has a boyfriend?" He asked in disbelief.

I scoffed. "Yes, your idiotic sister, Nora which is me, got herself a boyfriend,"

"No fucking way, give him the phone." I rolled my eyes and gave my phone to Liam as I slumped in my seat.

My anger is still there about Luna but now anxiety is coursing through my nervous system.

How can Luna cheat on Nick? I just don't get it.

For all I know, he literally treated her like a fucking goddess. I'll ask him more about it later. He seems bummed but a little relieved?

I looked over at Liam, staring at him confusedly as he laughed and whispered something into the phone. I hope to God, Nick isn't embarrassing me or worst, embarrassing me!

"She was a tough nut but she warmed up to me pretty quickly," Liam winked and I can't help but softly smile.

He's so handsome, I can just die.

They finally bid their goodbyes and I was given back my phone. "Nick said he'll call you later and he also said that you folded hard and fast and he plans to never let you rest on this."

I groaned. Damn, that son of a bitch. I always insisted that I would never fall in love again and Nick doubted that since I tend to fall hard and fast.

Jokes on him I didn't even fall fast. Did I? No, I didn't.
