FORKS, Washington. Probably the greenest and wettest, if that's even a word, place Margaux's ever been. She doesn't really remember much about Forks. She was so young when they moved and they never visit or spend vacations or holidays in Forks.

Her Mom never really want to go back, but she got fired. They'll be staying in Maddie's former house instead of the one that Margaux grew up in. Her Mom said that it will be safer for the two of them to stay out of the woods.

"Welcome to your new home, Honey" said Maddie. They're both standing in the driveway, looking at the house, that will be their new home. It's beautiful. "Well, you can go in and get settled. I'll wait for the truck. I'll call you down when I need your help"

Margaux nodded, giving her a tight smile. The house doesn't look like nobody lived there for over a decade. It feels and smells like--home. There's a holiday vibes to it. There's three rooms upstairs, Margaux notice one has her name on the door, "this must be my room" she thought.

Maurgaux room is--plain. There's no other furniture other than the bed and two bedside table. She sat down on it, putting her bag down, next to her feet. There's another door, she's assuming that's where the bathroom is.

Looking around, she doesn't know where to start. The only problem with moving is unpacking and organizing your things once again. Opening her backpack, Margaux grabbed a hold of an old wooden picture frame. It was their first and only family picture. She was around 1 year old.

Margaux set it down on the bedside table before taking out the remaining things in her backpack.  After putting and setting it all down, she decided to go downstairs to help her mother.

"Perfect timing, honey. Someone's here to see you, come"

Margaux brows furrowed.

"Um--this your Uncle Billy, he's your father's brother and this is Jacob, his son"

Maddie introduced them. Margaux just smiled at them.

"It's nice to finally see you again, Luns. I hope you still remember us. We used to go fishing with your Dad" said Billy.

"Yeah" Margaux let a little laugh, to be honest, she doesn't really remember them, but she doesn't wanna make it even more awkward.

"Why don't you guys catch up. I'll just get some drinks. Wait a minute" her Mom excused herself.

"So, what's the plan? Are you guys staying here for good or?"

"Oh--we'll gonna be staying here--for good. Mom's got fired and still looking for a job at the moment"

"How about school?" Jacob asked this time.

"My Mom already got me in to Forks High School"

"Forks High School? You're not gonna go to reservation?" Billy nudged Jacob.

"Well that's good. Charlie's daughter, Bella goes there too. I hope you still remember her? You guys used to play with each other"

Margaux only smiled. Again, she doesn't remember.

The guys went home after an hour of catching up and helping them carry their boxes inside.

"Mom, what's in the reservation?" Margaux asked. Her mom, who is busy looking through some papers, looked up at her.

"It's--Um--kind of an exclusive property. Your Dad's relatives lives there now"

"They have their own school?"

"I guess. They have a different culture. They're like a tribe. They're really fond of nature and they have this beliefs that it's their job to protect it so they're learning how. I think that's what they study there and some other basic lessons--I don't know"

As much as she misses the pack, Maddie is not ready for Margaux to be part of it and besides, she's sure that Margaux wouldn't be. She should've phase 2 years ago, but she didn't, so maybe she's different. She's not like them.
