LA LUNA

CHAPTER: thirteen

                                   
"We were great spirit warriors, shape-shifters that transformed to a powerful wolf. This enable us to scare off our enimies and protect our tribe"

"One day, our warriors came across creature, that looked like a Man, that was hard like stone and cold as ice. Our warrior's sharp teeth tore it apart, but only fire can destroy it"

That reminds her of what happened to one of the Volturi guards. He was set on fire, which Margaux was thankful for, she would've died. "His over dramatic coat must have caught the fire on one their torches"  she thought.

"They lived in fear that the old man was not alone and they were right. She took her vengeance out on the village. Our elder Chief, Taha aki is the only spirit warrior left to save the tribe after his son was killed. Taha aki's third wife could see that he could lose. The third wife was no magical being, with no special power, but courage"

"Her sacrifice managed to distract the cold woman, long enough for Taha aki to destroy her. She save their tribe"

"Overtime, our enemies dissapeared, but one remains, The cold ones. Our magic awakens when they are near and we feel the threat in our blood. Something terrible is coming"

"What are you doing out there, Rad?" Margaux asked. She just got out of the shower when she saw him sitting on the railings of her balcony. "Come in"

"My family and I might go to Seattle to fix some things before anything go out of hand"

"Seattle? You guys think vampires are the one's who cause those missing people?"

He nodded. "If we don't do anything about it. The Volturi will step in and fix it themselves and they'll come for us seeing as we're the only clan near Seattle"

"Do you guys need help? Maybe I can ask Jacob"

"No. Don't worry about it. We can handle them and besides, the wolves need to look out for Bella and I came here to tell you that I need you to be really extra careful"

Margaux smiled at him, nodding her head "Are you worried about me?" she asked.

Radleigh laugh, "Of course, you're my friend"

Ouch.

"Well, if that's the only thing you want to say then you can go now or I'll push you out and throw you down myself"

This made him laugh even more. They're always like this. They flirt like this. They're either annoying or hitting on each other, mostly Margaux hit on Rad and Rad annoy the shit out of her especially about what happened the night they went out.

They became comfortable as days go by and Margaux would come over to the Cullen's house because of Alice but always ended up staying there for a while because of Rad.

They know that they like each other, no one have or need to verbalize it because they feel and know it deep inside. They're not oblivious to it, they just chose not to do something about it, for now and enjoy it, enjoy what they have at the moment especially with what's going around. Being around each other is enough for them.

"Won't you kiss me goodbye?" Rad asked turning to look at her as he held over the edge of the railings. A mischievous spark glinted in his eyes.

Margaux rolled her eyes, "No. Kiss the wall if you want"

She turn around, but stop when she heard a loud yelp. "Rad!?"

She ran towards the railings, looking down to see, but there was no one. "What the fuck? I swear, Ra---"

She stopped herself when she felt a cold, wet, soft thing land on her cheek, arms wrapped around her from behind, keeping her in place, not that she needs it.

Radleigh just kissed her. On her cheek.

She turned around, her hands pushing him a bit so she could look up at him. "You jerk"

He chuckled, "Who's worried now, huh?" he asked, taking one of his arm around her, to put a strand of hair out of her face.

His hands stayed there, cupping her cheek. He's looking at her as if he's trying to memorize her features. "You're beautiful"

Margaux bit her lips to stop herself from laughing, "The fuck, Rad?"

He just looked at her, smile evident on his face, shaking his head before removing his arms around her, stepping back.

"I should probably go now, for real. I'll see you tomorrow, so you won't miss me that much" 

"I'll kill you if you don't"

"Okay, ma'am"

Margaux flipped him off and blowing him a kiss afterwards.
