LA LUNA

CHAPTER: seven

"SO, can you explain?" Margaux doesn't want to be so clueless, but at the same time if Alice wouldn't want to tell her anything, it's okay. She'll respect it.

She doesn't want to get into someone else's business. She doesn't want to get involve into something that she's not suppose to know.

"I will. I guess it's time for you to know" Alice started. "Me and my family. We're vampires"

Alice waited for Margaux reaction to see if she still can continue. Usually people would faint, laugh, or get scared, but Margaux remained emotionless.

"We don't drink human blood. We call ourselves vegetarian. We only consume animal blood, hence the golden eyes. You don't have to worry about me or my family. We would never hurt you or anyone"

Margaux nodded absentmindedly. She doesn't feel any fear which surprise her. She believes what Alice is saying cause if not, how come Bella's still alive?

She just nodded, "Well, what about the visions?"

"It's a gift. Some vampires are lucky enough to have enhanced skills or abilities. I can see the future, but it has limitations. I couldn't see pass werewolves and other shapeshifters and I can only see the outcome of a situation once it is made"

Margaux was about to ask her something again, but Alice's phone stopped her.

Alice put her hands 'wait', answering the call. "Yes, Rosalie---What!?"

Margaux frowned. Before she could ask what's going on, Alice bolted inside. She decided to stay outside and wait. As much as she wants to know what's going on at that moment, she feels like she wouldn't be able to take more. Like, she's starting to have questions and wonders about who, more like, what she really is. It's mad.

Minutes after, Alice and Bella got out of the house with Bags. Jacob following behind shortly. He was trying to stop Bella from doing something, but Bella seems determined to do it.

"Margaux will come with us, if that's gonna make you feel better" proposed Bella.

"What?"

The three said in unison. It's doesn't make it any better for Jacob and Alice isn't sure if it's a good idea.

"Okay. I'll come with you" Margaux decided. "Don't worry, Jake. We'll be safe. Alice's gonna be with us. I am sure she knows if somethings gonna happen right, Alice?"

The truth is, Alice doesn't know. She can't see Margaux's future. She was confuse but now she's getting ideas and theories. She nodded anyway.

"So, what's the plan?" Margaux asked, putting Alice's coat on.

"We need to stop Edward. He'll reveal himself and that will cause him his death. Don't worry, my uncle will meet us there. He'll help us if our plan went south" Alice said meeting Margaux's eyes in the rear-view.

"Radleigh's in Italy?" asked Bella.

"He is. He was actually on his way back to Forks, but he saw him on his way. They got into a fight. He lost him. He's been looking for him"

This gave Margaux relief, knowing that they'll have someone other than Alice. She's not underestimating Alice's capability to protect them, but the more the merrier, right?

It took hours before they finally arrived in Volterra, Italy. The people are wearing red coats. Margaux shifted in her seat uncomfortably. The scene and the people reminds her about her nightmares. It's sending chills all over her body.

The car suddenly stopped. Bella got out, "Alice"

"Bella, you're the only one he can't see coming. If I go, he'll read my thoughts, he might rush into it"

"Where do I go?"

Alice answered her and she immediately went on her way.

"Where are we going now?"

"We have to meet up with my uncle. He'll help us all get out of here safe"

Margaux didn't say anything after. She just sat there waiting and hoping that nothing bad comes up or happen.
The car suddenly comes to a halt. Alice turned to look at Margaux, taking her seatbelts off. "We're here"

Alice got out first, then Margaux. There stood a tall, slightly slim but muscular figure. His hair a bit messy.
As if he sensed them, he turned around.

Margaux felt the whole world stopped as she looked into his golden eyes. It's as if some kind of forced put her in a trance and she can't get out of it, she doesn't want to.

"Margaux"

Getting herself together, Margaux  shifted her gaze to Alice, who has been calling out for her. "This is Radleigh, Rad, my uncle"

"Your uncle?"

"Well, not really"

"Why is she here, Alice?" The Man asked.

Margaux felt something she haven't felt before and she doesn't want to feel. From the way he said it. She's not wanted there. Usually when someone doesn't want her, she just ignores them. She doesn't really care, but now, for some reasons, she's hurt.

She can feel the tears threatening to spill, but before it could even land on her cheeks, she blinked it away. Alice noticed it and start to pull the man away to talk.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Don't you want to see her?"

"Of course, I want too. I've been waiting for this, but not under this circumstances. It's dangerous for her"

"Nothing will happen to her because you're here. That's the reason why I let her come in the first place. It's because I know you'll never let them hurt her or even near her"

"You bet, I wont, but--" he said turning to look at Margaux. His eyes soften. He's been waiting for this day and now that she's here, he's acting like a jerk. That wasn't the first impression he wanted to set on her.

He walked towards her, clearing his throat to get her attention which worked.

"I'm sorry. You probably already knows why we're here and it is not really safe for someone like you"

"No, no. I understand. I am probably to tired that's why I reacted like that. The passed few hours isn't exactly normal for me. We're good"

The two smiled at each other. They could spend all day just like that.
