"Alright, everybody has their assignments?" Hondo asked
Everyone in the room confirmed. They were all nervous and excited, for they knew this was their one and only chance. According to Max, they had less than 12 hours to save their family, make an escape and prove Sanchez's evil plans to the board before they assigned him Chair. They had a lot to tackle, but with the help of the lieutenant they had designed a plan that they believed would work. They took advantage of the early dinner citation in the dinning room to discuss in detail what was to be done.
"Ok, so..." Hicks began. No one paid attention to the covered plates in front of them, completely untouched. "Our first move is with our families. We cannot do anything until we get confirmation of their well being."
"On it, commander." Street responded. All eyes on him as he was the mastermind of getting their families to safety. He just hoped, prayed to God, his plan would work!

He was driving nonchalantly down Pearson Avenue, as the cold shiver of the night crept through the nooks and crannies of the old delivery truck. It had been white all its existence, but after just over a decade of use, some spots looked brownish. He wore a soft yellow uniform shirt over brown khakis and drove with a grin from ear to ear. He had to look normal, whatever that was!
"Good evening! Name and purpose" called the guard at the front gate
Eckyard Park Residential Estates was privately owned and counted with a top of the line security system. It included a full registration process, vehicle verification and search, identification of visitors, fences all around the property with spikes that warned of electric shock, multiple security cameras, minimum 7 patrol trips a day and two gated access control. There were always two guards, fully armed, and prepared in tactical drills in the only entrance (and exit) to the site.
"Yes, sir. Marlon Rye, from Suggs Wyatt Attire & Thread. I come to pick up unwashed garments from several residencies." he answered quickly, surprised at the officer coming to his truck with a detector of some sort.
"Wait for the officer to search the vehicle."
"Yes, sir."
After some minutes, he glanced through his side mirror as the guard showed a thumbs up and the first gate was opened. He moved the truck forward, having to stop at the second closed gate. As the first gate closed, he glanced through his mirror again and noticed the guard had placed the detector to the side, and had taken out a hand detector. He knocked on the door.
"Come out of the truck for inspection." he ordered with a deep frown
Uh oh! He wasn't no SWAT officer, so he was nervous already. What if they discovered him? No, no. He had to be calmed. His friend needed him to be strong. "Whatever you do, do not freak out. These guys will have you trembling in your boots!" his friend warned him before. That's one reason he avoided coming in boots altogether.
He took a deep breath and opened the door. "Officer, is this necessary?"
"Standard procedure. Against the car, hands up, legs spread."
What the hell is this? I feel like I'm going into jail or something. I hope Jim's plan works, for real. Coz these guys are no joke!
"Yes, sir" he answered as he followed orders
It didn't take the officer much time to let him go. "Open!" he yelled to his partner in the shed. "You have 15 minutes, so hurry up! Or I'll come personally to kick your ass out!"
"Yes, sir!" and he didn't doubt it. With that face he could scare the heck outta anyone! He wasn't gonna mess with that psycho.
He went into the garage of the first house, took out one of the bins, then returned it to the truck. He waited as everyone came and settled in. Then, he went to the second, and finally the third.
