The tension in the room was thick...obvious...painful! A knife would've sliced it right down the middle! Concerning looks all around, as Street placed his hands on the table. He was the only one with a sad look on his face.

"What are we going to do? I wanna see Rubio again!" Street pleaded

Everyone turned to him, as Hondo was steaming. "Who the hell would pull this off? Get us away from our families...everyone we know!"

Deacon turned to Hondo, placed his hand on his shoulder and said, "Hondo we need to focus!"

"I can't, Deac. They're holding us hostage here...and they got access to our families on some bogus stuff!" he was so angry he brought his fist down hard on the table, as his nostrils lit up and his jaw pinched his teeth together, hard.

"Hondo's right, Deacon. It's not just us...we gotta think about our families." Luca said

"So, what do we do?" Chris asked

"We need to get outtta here!" Hondo said emphatically

"Hondo" Deacon called, with a sad expression, "They got our families! If we move, we might jeopardize them. I can't risk it!"

"Oh my God!" Street said, realizing what Deacon was saying

"They were the ones that provided the hideout, which by the way, we don't know where it is. How would we get them away from the people that are supposedly protecting them?" Luca asked

"Wait, didn't each family went their own way?" Tan asked

"No", Luca said, "My brother left Rubio with Annie and the kids, and later on they were supposed to meet with Bonnie and her folks. I think Nichelle was also on her way. Last I heard, the feds were gonna pick up my folks and Hondo's and take everyone to a gated community, with top of the line security."

"Oh no!" Tan whispered staring at the floor, hand to his forehead.

"So, not only are they the only ones that know what is going on here, they're the only ones able to reach our families? Oh my God!" Deacon lamented.

"This just keeps getting better and better!" Whitlock said

"Alright, guys...just think! We need a plan! And fast because the Marshalls might come in at any moment." Hicks urged

"Wait! The Marshalls" Chris began, as he paused to take a glance at the door, "Guys, this op is gonna be a real challenge. We need to beat the security here, look for a trace that we can follow to find our way back to civilization, all of this while communicating with someone to locate our families and get em to safety?"

"Don't forget try to find out who is making our lives miserable!" Tan added

"We wont be able to do anything without communicating with someone from the outside...and none of us has a phone or anything!" Whitlock complained

"So...think! What's our first move?" Hicks urged, yet again

Dead silence. Each officer kept staring at the big table as all eight brains had ideas running at the speed of light! Unfortunately, none that could be useful at this moment. Until...

"Ok, I know it's a long shot, but," Deacon began, as a couple of the officers snapped back to reality, "I still think we should try turning Agent Max. I mean, we will need someone's help here... might as well play the faith card." he suggested

Hondo shot a look at him, as Chris bit her lip and Tan and Luca frowned.  Hicks nodded slowly and Whitlock's insides roared of hunger.

"Guys?" Whitlock began, as he hugged his abdomen, "I don't mean to be annoying, but I have an issue with my sugar level. It's usually low, which means I have to eat on the dot."
