Chapter 7 - Sato's story

Sam brought to his suite

Jewel, Sakura, and Adrian had spent a good portion of the day in the room with Sam though they did go for a walk. Falecrow ended up following them most of the day and just for good measure she had a slight smirk on her face at the female's reactions to Adrian. His reaction was almost as good since he appeared to be trying to hide behind both Sakura and Jewel occasionally.

When they finally made it back to Sam's suite he collapsed on the couch, "Good god that was stressful. I don't think I am going to leave these rooms again, or wherever I end up staying until Sam can go back or we get sent back." He glanced at Jewel, "How is Flambé doing? He can be a bit annoying but I miss the silly thing."

Jewel grinned, "He is doing fairly well and has been flirting shamelessly with the magical items helping to guard him. Just so you know if there ends up being little MI's support will be expected." She blushed badly when she said that.

Adrian stared at her and dropped his head back on the couch and groaned, "Flambé I am going to do something horrible to you. I don't know what but something. Maybe get you a pleather holster for you. Something that says you are into bondage. Wonder if I can figure out a tiny ball gag for him."

Sakura snorted as she settled on the other end of the couch and settled for not saying anything. She hadn't slept well last night and right now she was exhausted. Much of it was from the energy drain she had experienced during the fight. Sam had used more as had Adrian since he was now asleep on the couch but she had as well, "Jewel I am going to take a nap. Wake me up with Sam arrives please." moments later she was snoring. Hanma was back in her hammer form since she was tired as well and was resting in Sakura's lap.

Sakura and Adrian actually woke up right when Sam was being brought into the room. He was floating several feet off the floor as he was brought in. Jewel hurried over to the bed and pulled the covers back before moving off to one side. Once Sam had been lowered to the bed she pulled the sheet up. Before she did she saw the scars from the attack and though mostly healed they looked red and angry, "By the queen those are horrible." Her voice was hoarse when she spoke. How he'd survived she didn't know and the idea of losing her brother terrified her.

Sakura had to struggle to leave the couch and moved over to the bed and carefully settled down. She lay down and rested her arm across his waist where it wouldn't hurt him, or so she hoped. Sam was looking better which was so very pleasing, "He's tough Jewel. If he could survive getting clawed he'll be fine soon." *Get better Samantha and sooner is better.*

Sam groaned, "Don't ever call me Samantha again or I will tickle you until you can't breathe Sakura." He had been starting to wake up and that just encouraged him, "Damn it, this sucks. I have had a broken bone before and even my tonsils removed but this beats those hands down. What happened?" His voice was rough as he was speaking.

Adrian came over and after a look at Falecrow he settled at the end of the bed, "Sam I hate to say it but you were pussy whipped. That nasty ass pussy nailed you and big time." As soon as that came out Jewel turned and whacked him on the back of his head. Adrian winced, "Uh, sorry that didn't come out how I meant it." Oh, hell yah it had and he could hear Falecrow try not to gag at the horrible joke.

Sakura gagged even as Sam gave a very pathetic laugh, "Adrian you are not going to wash my back again for at least a week. That was horrible. So, what really happened?" Sam tried not to groan as he felt the pain from his chest.

Sakura glared at Adrian and then Falecrow just for good measure, "We were fighting those two cat things and one attacked you. She clawed you badly but you took her out. The second is now a mutt and looks old and used. Adrian sent her back... Actually, she is a he now. I was somewhat angry when I changed her to a dog. Oh, your father is here and he doesn't know you are also a MG as of yet. He is feeling rather lost and confused." She leaned over and gave him a kiss, "Damn you Doc, you scared the crap out of me. I love you and if you scare me like this again I am going to use my hammer on you." Tears started flowing.
