-Ashton-

I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock, violently tapping on it so it would stop ringing.

I touched the space next to me, just now realizing that it was empty.

The bed is cold, he must have left a long while ago.

My eyes unwillingly flew right open as I yawned, grabbing my phone on my way out of the room.

"Morning." I sleepily said to my flatmate when I stepped in the kitchen.

"Hey!" He answered with a smile. "Coffee?"

"Please." I somewhat begged while checking my messages.

No text, no call.

Absolutely nothing.

So, that's it, huh?

"Here you go!" He expressed, handing me a cup.

"Thanks." I looked up to him, taking a sip. "You're in a good mood."

He nodded happily. "I have a date tonight!"

"That's great! I'm glad you guys made up."

"Me too." He grinned. "What about you, though? I barely got a glimpse of you last night."

"Yeah, I fell asleep early." I lied.

"Oh..." He stared at my face.

"What?" I confusedly glanced at him.

He stayed quiet for a few more seconds, before finally gasping loudly. "Oh my God!" He shouted, smiling wide.

"What?" I asked again, still completely lost.

"You had sex!" He stated, making my eyes pop right out of my head. "Oh my God!" He repeated when he saw my reaction. "You did! You had se-"

"Don't be ridiculous." I got up, coffee in hand. "I'm going back to my room."

"Don't you dare gaslight me into thinking you didn't get laid, Irwin!" He insisted, following my path. "Who was it? Do I know them?!"

"Stop it."

"Come on!!" He begged. "You have that glow on your face, I know you did it." He explained, grabbing my wrist. "Tell meeeeee-"

"Fine!" I cut him off, turning around to face him. "It was Luke, but he left with no warning and haven't talked to me since. Happy?!"

I took a deep breath after my last statement, trying to calm my nerves. He pouted while giving me a petty look, not moving an inch.

"Ashton-"

"I'm fine, alright?"

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be. I mean, he has a girlfriend..." I paused. "Who was searching my room last night."

"What?!"

"Yeah... I'm glad my notebook is still in your bedroom, or God knows what would have happened if she found it."

"It would've been chaos!" He massaged his forehead. "What a bitch. I guess you were right, she was up to something."

"Well, I slept with her boyfriend so, I guess we're even."

He pressed his lips together, containing a laugh as I chuckled.

"You're evil."

"Yeah, well..." I shrugged my shoulders under his giggles. "I'm going to take a shower."

"Alright..." He paused, watching me step into my bedroom. "Ash?"

"Yeah?" I faced him.

"He will call, alright? I'm sure of it." He tried to reassure me.
