"The Cullens are vampires," Bella stated. Harvey gave her a simple glance as he ate his cereal.

"So she's finally figured it out, took you long enough," Harvey scoffed. Bella smacked him in the arm.

"You could have told me, you idiot!" She shouted. Harvey rolled his eyes.

"I knew you'd figure it out eventually, it was just a matter of time," Harvey said, putting his empty bowl in the sink.

"Alright, I'm going to my room," Harvey said, walking up the stairs. He opened his bedroom door and saw Jasper looking at the drawings hung up on the wall. Jasper turned and smiled at him, and Harvey melted a little.

Harvey sat on his bed and motioned for Jasper to follow him. The blonde did and sat beside Harvey, holding his hand. He really wanted to kiss Jasper but he got nervous anytime he ever wanted to. Sure, they'd kissed before, but only a handful of times and Jasper always initiated it.

Harvey leaned in and pressed his lips to Jasper's, getting a smile from the blonde. Harvey's heart fluttered when Jasper held his jaw in his hand, pulling the black-haired male closer. Harvey melted at the way Jasper gently played with his hair.

Jasper pulled away so Harvey could catch his breath. As soon as he did Harvey went back to kissing Jasper, turning into putty under his touch. Harvey exhaled through his nose and his hand made its way to Jasper's curly blonde hair.

"Harvey- AHHH!" Bella screeched, barging through the door. Harvey immediately jumped back from Jasper and stared wide-eyed at his younger sister.

"Jesus christ Bella do you not know how to knock!" Harvey yelled, hiding his face in his hands. Bella stared shocked and closed the door, immediately running downstairs afterward. Harvey began laughing and Jasper smiled lovingly at him.

"Your laugh is adorable," Jasper commented. Harvey stopped laughing and his face turned red. He went over to Jasper and pressed little kisses to his face.

"You're adorable," he responded, kissing Jasper again. Jasper smiled into the kiss and Harvey moved so he was laying on his back, bringing Jasper back down with him. Harvey's hands tangled into Jasper's hair and he pulled him closer.

"You're amazing," Jasper mumbled against his lips. Harvey laughed lightly and stared into Jasper's golden-brown eyes.

"So are you."

A few days later . . .

Harvey stared blankly at his food, not having an appetite. Jasper took note of this and frowned.

"Darlin', you need to eat," Jasper said, worry in his voice.

"I'm not hungry," Harvey mumbled. He hadn't been himself the past few days, he didn't eat, he never slept, and he barely even smiled. Jasper was starting to get concerned because of the numbness that clung to Harvey.

"Darlin' please," Jasper practically begged. Harvey turned to look at him, and he noticed the worried expression on Jasper's face. He grabbed the fork and shoved a piece of the food in his mouth, quickly chewing before swallowing. He noticed Jasper's mood improve and sighed before continuing this until his plate was empty.

He could deal with his own depression, but seeing Jasper sad was something he refused to allow. Jasper pressed a kiss to Harvey's forehead and smiled at him.

"Thank you," Jasper whispered before his head snapped towards the front door. A few seconds later Charlie walked in, closing the door behind him. When Charlie noticed Jasper he froze, no doubt confused.

"Hello chief Swan," Jasper said, his thick southern accent making it sound funny.

"Jasper," Charlie replied, his eyes darting to Harvey's weary form. Harvey sighed and Charlie noticed how his son was leaning against the blonde.

"Alright, I think we need to have a talk," Charlie said, sitting on the opposite side of the table. Harvey looked at him cautiously, trying to detect what they were going to talk about.

"It's getting pretty obvious that you two are dating," Charlie deadpanned. Jasper slightly stiffened, thinking Charlie would react badly to their relationship.

"I don't care that you're dating, but if you hurt Harvey just remember that I own guns, and I know how to track someone down," Charlie warned, causing a light laugh to come out of Harvey.

"That's the last thing I want to do sir," Jasper assured, his gaze softened as he looked at Harvey. Charlie knew that look, and he sighed.

"You're a good influence on him I hope?" Harvey rolled his eyes.

"Dad, he follows the rules like it's his religion. If anything, you should be worried about me being a bad influence on him," Harvey said, getting a chuckle from both of the other men.

"You were always a trouble maker, even when you were five," Charlie said fondly. "I remember one time I was called to the principal's office because you had climbed up on the roof of the building and didn't come down until Bella started crying, you were in kindergarten. It gave me and your mother quite the fright."

Jasper's eyebrows shot up and he looked at Harvey with a shocked expression. Harvey smiled a little at the blonde.

"I remember that, the teachers were all screaming and a few were crying, one of them even passed out when I started doing flips," Harvey said, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"You did flips?" Charlie asked, not knowing that part.

"Yeah, a few of the kids kept telling me to so I did, the teachers lost their fucking minds," Harvey said, amusement in his voice. Jasper felt the happiness rolling off of Harvey and smiled.

The ringing of a phone cut through the air, startling Harvey. Charlie fished his phone out of his pocket and answered.

"Hello?" The Swan said, his face falling when he heard the reply. "Yeah, ok I'll be there soon, bye." Charlie turned to Harvey and let out a sigh.

"A work buddy needs my help, I won't be back until tomorrow morning," he said, patting Harvey on the shoulder.

"I'll see you later kiddo."

"Bye, Dad," Harvey said, sighing as well. Charlie left and Harvey heard him yell,

"No fooling around while I'm gone!"

"DAD!"
