The chorus of roars echoing through the entire battlefield is deafening. All eyes turn to me and I can feel the bond connecting me with my pack, with my people, tighten and strengthen filling my head with the excited and relieved voices of my loved ones. Some were in total disbelief but everyone was happy at the sight of their queen, ready to vanquish the enemy.
"Let's make him pay." Raeya's voice rings loud and clear in my head and I couldn't agree more. This disgusting creature has been the cause of so much suffering and bloodshed. It's time he pays for his crimes.
The king is still in shock, glancing at Clarissa, whom I hadn't noticed until now, before giving a bloodcurdling hiss, "How is this even possible? I killed you!"
A wolfy grin makes its way onto my face and I lock on him, my mind entering his, "You may have killed me once but a queen never stays down for long." He screams in agony and grips his head, willing my voice to leave so I release him. Forcing your voice into someone's head, especially someone unwilling, can be fatal. I want him dead but he will suffer by my hand.
The moment I release him he charges at me with his advanced speed, baring his fangs with his claws extended, ready to strike me down but I'm quicker than he is. I dodge his attack, sending him barreling into the stone outer walls of the castle. I lunge at him, baring my claws, and snap at his neck but he rolls away just in time. He swipes at my legs, tearing the flesh but I can barely focus on the pain. I have one job, kill him.
We become a blur on the battlefield.
I tackle him to the ground and pin him with my paw, ready to rip the flesh right out of his neck but something lifts me off the ground and slams me into a nearby tree. I jump up and snarl at Clarissa as the two try and corner me, "That's enough, Amelia, you can't win this fight. I don't know how you came back from the dead but you should surrender and join us or I will make sure you stay dead this time." She raises her fists, alight with glowing energy while the vampire King smirks in false victory.
A blur out of the corner of my eye catches my attention just in time for me to see Nicole riding on Luc. Luc slams into the vampire King throwing Nicole off who then tackles Clarissa to the ground. Luc and the vampire King are caught in a stalemate battle, both equally matched, rolling on the ground whilst attacking each other, never giving the other the upper hand while Clarissa and Nicole are stuck in a heated battle of spells. Nicole is nimble and young but Clarissa has the experience and Nicole has been fighting all day.
I snap the neck of a vampire that tries to attack me from behind, ripping his head clean off his shoulders. I glance at the battlefield, at the bloodshed and death. This won't end. This won't end unless something happens to end it. It has gone too far, "Then let's end it."
Pages of the book of tribrids flash through my mind, each one speaking of the ultimate untapped power of the tribrid. The vampire King advances at Lucas again, who's bleeding badly, and goes for the final blow but mom, or I guess my adoptive mom, jumps in front of Lucas at the last second, the vampire king's claws slashing through her stomach.
I see red...
"ENOUGH!"

Raeya's voice booms through the battlefield, freezing everyone in their tracks. She rises up from all fours and stands on her two hind legs, snarling and growling, a lycan. Her lycan form towers over everyone else. Her claws and canines extend, adding her vampire's length, but it's her eyes that truly stand out. Her animalistic eyes start glowing the brightest purple, illuminating the darkening day while her stark white and midnight blue fur gleams with a red halo. The sight alone has the werewolves bowing in submission while the vampires are frozen in terror at her presence.
"Vampire king." The voice of the creature is powerful, eerie, and dominant. It echoes back as if a thousand voices are speaking in perfect sync, "You have tried and almost succeeded in destroying the balance in the supernatural kingdom. You have caused suffering and death, annihilating entire packs, clans, and covens who refused to follow you, but that all ends here. No longer will you continue to extend your power to the other species and no longer will you continue to terrorize this one. I am Amelia Selino Lykonios, the tribrid of legend and the rightful ruler of the supernatural Kingdom and you will not hurt my people anymore."
She rises off the ground, lustrous ribbons of silver and gold energy surround her, creating a sphere of light, exploding in bursts of glowing gold magic, charging the already tense atmosphere. Amelia emerges from the light levitating above the chaos in her final form as beautiful as it is dangerous. Her nails become sharp claws, matching her elongated fangs. Her hair, once the color of snow, now floats around her with a crimson halo, the very color of the blood spilled and her eyes, an alluring lilac, glow with the intensity of a thousand suns, locking onto the vampire king, his demise evident in her cold, hateful gaze.

A dark mist creeps onto the battlefield, glowing in the light of the moon, giving it an eerie feel. The vampire King glares at me and charges but I stop him in his tracks with the raise of my hand. His body freezes in place, rising from the ground as he screams in agony. This power, my power flows through my veins, setting my very soul ablaze. I meet his gaze head-on.
He struggles against my hold but it's no use. There's no way I'm letting him go, not after all he's done. This disgusting creature killed hundreds, thousands even. He killed my father, the king of werewolves, and tried to kill me. It all ends today, all the killing, the misery, the torture, it all ends here.
My eyes close and my hands raise as the words slip past my lips in a hushed whisper, echoing eerily, sending shivers down everyone's spine. No one dares to move, barely risking breathing.
My eyes snap open, glaring into his soul as the air around me charges with electricity. My arm raises to the heavens, catching the bolt of lightning barreling my way as it wraps itself around my arm and solidifies into a majestic blade.
He struggles against my hold, trying to get free but I pull him closer until we're a hair's width apart. I whisper the words but I know every single creature here can hear them, "Your reign is over."
I stab the glowing blade straight through his heart, the sound of his screams being music to my ears. His blood coats the sword and splatters on my tattered clothes, smearing my face, but I don't care. The vampire king is dead. His body falls to the ground and after a second I feel the energy draining from my body as the darkness envelopes me and for once I don't fight its pull.
