"Ow, Gretchen if you poke me one more time I swear I'm ripping this dress off!" A normal omega would cower but Gretchen isn't a normal omega, not anymore. She merely rolls her eyes at me and puts the next few pins in place.

"I'm going to ignore that because I know you're stressed but if you rip this dress I will resign." I huff and blow a piece of snow-white hair out of my face. I glance at myself in the three full-length mirrors they placed in my room to help get me ready for the ceremony set to take place later. Gretchen crouches down to fix the skirt before clapping her hands in satisfaction, clearly pleased by her work and I have to admit the dress is gorgeous.

After discussing things with the council, some heavy debating, and a lot of doubt we all agreed to do what was best for the supernatural Kingdom.

Flashback

"You cannot possibly think that I should be in charge of the entire supernatural Kingdom, do you? I'm a child-"

"Who defeated one of the greatest threats the supernatural kingdom has ever seen. You are the queen of werewolves, it is your birthright, and according to prophecy, you are meant to rule much more than just werewolves. There is a reason you were born what you are." Arya gives me a reassuring smile but I can't seem to process her words. There's no way I'm meant to be some kind of supreme ruler.

"Where is Queen Lumeria?" And just like that she walks through the door like a witch summoned, which I guess she technically is, "Queen Lumeria, do you and princess Maddison truly believe that I am fit to rule to this extent? Placing that kind of power in the hands of one being alone could be detrimental, catastrophic even. What makes you think the power won't make me go crazy?"

Lumeria smiles at me as all eyes turn to her, "That, those words, thoughts, and fears are exactly why I believe you to be the perfect leader. You believe yourself unworthy because you want what's best for not only your people but our people as well but that is exactly what makes you an excellent leader. You put the needs of the people before your own. I've heard of your short reign, the battle with your mother, how you saved your mate, beta, and two vampires, and how you've performed magic and possess a power many witches could only ever dream of. You are meant to rule Amelia and I would be honored to serve under your reign."

She bows her head low, followed by everyone else in the room. I'm rendered speechless by her words and that everyone seems to agree. I glance at the moon goddess, my mother to see her head bowed low too. If she approves then it must be the right decision. She gazes at me with a reassuring look, a look that tells me that she knows I'll make the right choice.

I clear my throat, signaling them to raise their heads. I take a deep breath to calm my nerves and the loud drumming of my heart until I feel composed enough to relay my decision, "As a queen, it is my duty to do what is best for my people and as the tribrid of legend and daughter of the moon goddess, my people include the entire supernatural realm, not just the werewolves. You are all right, we have been divided and that has led to wars and bloodshed that will from henceforward be put to an end. I would be honoured to be crowned queen of the supernatural kingdom but under the condition that queen Lumeria and Prince Jackson remain in a position of power, to govern the people under my rule."

The moon goddess glances at me with approval," I'm so proud of you."

"I'm so proud of you" I glance back at my mother who'll be officiating the coronation. She's dressed in the finest white silk while her luscious black hair flows in soft waves down her back. A silver crown sits proudly on her head, the glittery metal forming the image of a crescent moon right above her temple. She's absolutely stunning, a true vision, a true goddess.

"Thank you, mother. I just hope I can live up to your expectations." I catch my own determined gaze in the mirror. My now permanently lilac eyes seem to glow in the soft light, my snow-white hair flows down my back in voluptuous curls, almost reaching my butt and my dress, sweet mercy my dress.

The dress' shape is a corset bodice with a full poofy ball gown skirt, a long train, and off-the-shoulder draped silk sleeves. The color itself is the color that now represents the joint kingdoms, a deep indigo with golden accents in the corset boning and gold shimmer detailing on the skirt. I've always known I'd one day be a queen but in this dress with an audience of thousands waiting for me just beyond the door, it all feels very real.

She places a gentle hand on my shoulder and smiles at my reflection, silent tears running down her cheeks, "Oh my dear, you've exceeded any expectation I could ever have for you and I could never express the pride I feel seeing you becoming the leader I know you were born to be."

A knocking sounds at the door. I flick my hand and they wave open, leaving a dumbstruck Dylan standing with his fist raised, "I don't think I'll ever get used to that. Amelia, everyone has arrived and signed the treaty, the lion king, the siren queen, and the ruler of the faye are all accounted for. Although there is someone we didn't account for..." He trails off with an excited smile.

"Let's go see who's waiting for us, or should I say waiting for you." I nod at my mother as she leads the way to the giant double doors leading to the ballroom. The hallways are empty but the sounds of the people's excitement reverberate off the walls, shaking the building to its foundation. I suck in a deep breath, reveling in the admiration and support of my people.

Mom enters first, leaving me behind. The crowd instantly quiets down as her voice booms through the hall, her voice carrying her powerful aura.

I take another deep breath to calm my nerves but all I can think about is the now millions of people relying on me to be their guide. A hand rests on my shoulders. My father stands beside me, a stoic expression on his face but his eyes twinkle in silent excitement, "I always knew you were destined for greatness but I think you're bragging a bit by taking over everything."

I chuckle slightly and glance up at him, excitement bubbling inside me, "You know one would think that you'd have more to say to me after 8 years daddy."

His eyes shoot to mine in alarm but soften when he sees the look on my face. I'm not mad, I'm just relieved to have him back, "So you've figured it out I see."

"A daughter knows her father." The glimmer in his eyes remains, as does mine.

I hear my mother's voice again announcing my entrance. The giant doors open and thousands of pairs of eyes instantly take me in. I hear gasps and murmurs as I approach the landing. The landing is raised above the ballroom with twin spiral staircases on either side. A table is placed in front of the throne and on it rests one of the most important documents in supernatural history, a peace treaty, crowning me their queen.

It's pin-drop silent as I pick up the pen and sign on the final open space at the very bottom. The ink glides over the paper, sealing our fate as I finish my signature, placing the pen down again.

My mother approaches me with a silver dagger and holds out her hand for mine. I glance around at the leaders now surrounding me all of them holding their palms out toward me. They're each handed a knife and one by one they slit their palms, dripping their blood on top of their signature, creating a blood bond. I place my hand in my mother's, "Do you, Amelia Selino Lykonios Knight, promise to dedicate your life to preserving the lives of the people, protecting them, guiding them, and leading them into a new prosperous era, uniting us under one nation as one people?"

No one dares to breathe, scared to shatter the tension"I swear it on my life."
