She clothed herself with full darkness, in order that other people would get scared of her, for her to become fearing, and for others to distance themselves from her. For her to not get hurt by the others.
The truth is she's from the Light but she stained herself with a bit of Dark.
So, in order for her to not get fully stained with Darkness, she coated herself outside with full darkness, to protect herself.
