CHAPTER 6
(In the guest house)
Jungkook: The woodwind pack has been rebelling for quite some time now. The reason why they decided to attack the pack today must be the presence of all the packleaders. Since we are somehow responsible for this situation we cannot just sit and watch.
Lisa: How about we go and help Mr. Namjoon? I mean we're fighters. We definitely won't drag them down.
Hoseok: Yes, but they asked us to stay here and cooperate. If we go out now, we'll be disobeying the packleader's orders.
Jungkook: You're right hyung. But if we do not help them when we are capable to do so, that'll be against our pack's motto*.
Hoseok: Fine..I know no matter what I say, you won't change your mind. Let's go now.
Jungkook: (smiles) Let's go.
The three of them leave the guest house and goes towards the clearing where Namjoon and the soldiers were present.
Namjoon: Wha-
Jungkook: Namjoon hyung..I know you told us to stay at the guest house and not to come out but we really want to help. We won't cause you any trouble.
Lisa: Jungkook's right sir. Besides we are trained in battle and combat. We can never be a liability especially during a fight.
Namjoon: I Know you guys are capable. But it's the pack leader's order to keep the guests away from the fight. If something happens to any of you-
Jungkook: Don't worry hyung. If anything happens to us, we'll take full responsibility.
Namjoon: (sighs) Fine.... Just be careful.
Jungkook: Yes hyung.
Not even 10 minutes passed before the signal came saying that the borders were attacked and the woodwind pack, along with their army has entered the pack grounds.
Hyunjin: Soldiers take position. Cover the areas that access entrance into the pack grounds as instructed during the drill. Prioritize keeping the intruders away from the safehouse and the guesthouse. Keep the fight here. Do not let them have the upper hand and DO NOT DIE!!
The soldiers took their position as the woodwind pack charged into the pack grounds. They fought head on with the intruders. But they were nothing compared to the mighty warriors of the frostwork pack known for their bravery and battle skills. The woodwind really underestimated them when they dared to attack the Frostwork pack. Among the frostwork warriors were the young pack leader and warriors of Snow Flick pack.
(With Taehyung)
Third Person POV
Reo panicked knowing that a vampire is in their pack territory. It was clear that the vampire was not an ordinary one. Its presence could not be recognized before by wolves without a heightened sense of smell. Taehyung remained calm on the outside but he was as vigilant as a tiger. Suddenly a voice came from behind them.
Unknown: And here I thought you were more capable.
The three turned to see the vampire that invaded their pack borders and killed their guards. He was unlike any normal vampires they had seen up until then. Even his scent was different. It was barely identifiable for Reo and Jennie. But to Teahyung, the air around him held pride and dominion.
Taehyung: What do you want?
Unknown: How do you know I want something?
Taehyung: You've invaded our pack grounds, killed our guards, and frightened my people. You are a threat to all the pack leaders of the Northern Jungle and you are not afraid of any consequences that may arise. It's obvious you're not doing this for fun. Now let me repeat myself, what do you want?
Unknown: You're smart Kim Taehyung. But it won't save you from meeting your miserable death.
Taehyung: And who are you to say that?
Unknown: Me? (chuckles) You won't know even if I tell you. But for now, I am the one who's gonna kill you.
The vampire lunges forward to attack Taehyung. Reo and Jennie block him and starts fighting. But Taehyung knows they won't last long. The vampire is too strong. The only one who can fight him is Taehyung right now. Just as Tae thought it wasn't long before the vampire subdues Reo and Jen.
Unknown: It's disappointing. The great Kim Jennie did not last 10 minutes against me. It seems like the Kims are overrated.
Taehyung: Don't be too soon to judge.
