+Short and cute request+ (Winged kitten demon)

Husk's POV

"HUSK! Control your child!" Vaggie shouted as Y/n raced around, her little wings flapping unsteadily into walls. I grimaced and put down the bottle I was holding.

"Kid, get down from there," I called up to where she was perched on the railing like a gargoyle. She giggled, her tail flicking back and forth in amusement. "But daaaaaaad," she whined, flipping over so she was hanging upside down. "Uncle Angel bet I couldn't fly without crashing and~"

"Do you understand the word secret?" Angel groaned from down the hall. I scowled in his direction. "'Uncle Angel' is an idiot. Come back down."

Y/n pouted and let her grip loosen. I panicked and shot forwards, holding my arms out so I could catch her before she hit the ground. "That is exactly why I told you no flying," I growled, setting her down on the bar. "Are you hurt?"

She shook her head, just as Charlie came out of her office. "Hey, Y/n!" she beamed, coming over and sitting down. I rolled my eyes and walked back behind the counter. "You wanna come with me to the store?" she asked her.

Usually I didn't like Y/n leaving the hotel. Hell was dangerous enough for a grown up, let alone a tiny little cat demon who was still learning to control herself. But Charlie was literally Lucifer's daughter; Y/n was probably as safe as she could get.

Y/n looked at me for confirmation, and I shrugged. "Stay with Charlie, okay?"

She squealed with delight and jumped off the bar, taking Charlie's hand. "Auntie Charlie, guess what I did today..." I heard her say as the two of them left the building. I picked up my bottle and took a swig, thinking back to the first time she had started flying.

"Okay, kid, just take it easy," I  said, watching nervously as she flailed her wings in an attempt to stay aloft. "Dad, look!" she laughed, rising higher. I inhaled sharply, preparing to catch her if she fell.

"Husk." Angel spoke, snapping me back to the present. "You good?"

My brows furrowed and I shot him a glare. "Why'd you dare Y/n to fly around today? She could've gotten hurt." I asked angrily.

The spider demon blanched, holding up his hands defensively. "I was just kidding. I didn't think she'd actually do it."

"She's got no impulse control, of fuckin' course she'd do it!" I hissed. My shoulders drooped and I massaged my temples, already feeling a headache coming on.

"Next time you tell my kid to do something stupid, be sure as hell that you do it first." I told him, taking a long drink. "It'd be hilarious to see you try and fly."
