"So, you taught me how to control my bloodlust, you taught me how to compel a person and you also taught me how to escape from danger." Lia listed out to Caroline as they both walked down the hallway. The past day, Damon and Elena spent tracking down Stefan, Caroline helped the newbie vampire deal with her vampirism.

Not just that, she even caught her up on their current problem, and also the number of problems they had faced in the past. Like, how they survived the 'elusive, infamous Katherine Pierce' who was a fragile, little human now and with Damon and Elena on their adventure of finding Stefan. Also, the part where Elena survived a sacrifice she was supposed to die in. They even dodged Klaus Mikaelson, the hybrid, and his family of Original vampires, who led them to Nova Scotia where they found the cure for vampirism, which ended up with Jeremy being dead and Katherine eluding with the cure. Then how Elena turned off her emotions and searched for Katherine to get rid of the cure, and finally when she turned her emotions back on, they thought they had almost gotten rid of all their problems. But, turns out they didn't, when they thought Bonnie got rid of Silas and all was well in Mystic Falls, Stefan was drowning in a safe all summer, which led to Silas's escape. This brings us to our current problem, finding Stefan. For a second there Lia thought if they were even real, but knowing her past she couldn't judge them.

"And in the time being, you helped me study up my Chem, Bio-chem and even helped me apply for AP Micro Bio, Molecular Bio, and Grey's Anatomy" Caroline listed things out too. Just Caroline didn't help Lia, it happened the other way 'round too.

"Yeah, now all you have to do is get me a witch, who can make me a daylight ring," Lia replied raising her hands in the air. She wanted a daylight ring now so that she could finally escape her dorm room and live a semi-normal life.

"I don't have a witch with me right now," Caroline replied angrily.

"Then where is you witch?" Lia asked frustratedly. She grabbed Caroline's arm pulling her into their dorm, as Caroline groaned in pain and Lia felt a sudden wave of magic hit her.

"What was that?" Caroline asked rubbing her arm in pain.

"That felt good," Lia replied confused as she waved her hand and the books fell off the table. She chuckled happily at the realization. "I can still do magic. I can still do magic, Caroline!" That was a relief for her, she felt like a child, who got a lollipop from their parents.

"Oh, my god!" Caroline replied with her hand on her mouth. Their moment was short-lived as Lia's phone started to ring. She took it out of her pocket looking at the caller-id. The caller-id flashed Elena's name so she picked it up.

"What?" She asked frustratedly.

"So, there's good news and bad news." Elena's voice beamed through the phone.

"What's the good one?" Lia asked.

"We found Stefan, he's safe," Elena replied.

"What's bad?" She dreaded her question instantly.

"He doesn't recognize anyone," Elena replied.

"What do you mean he doesn't recognize anyone?" Lia asked confused.

"Silas' crazy ex-fiancée did some witchy ju-ju on his brain to stop Silas from using his mind-controlling thing-y, and something happened in the process." Damon's voice was the next one heard.

"Can you tell me what exactly happened, after the spell?" Lia asked next.

"Well, Stefan went into a slumber and woke up after a lot of hours not recognizing a single person in the room, not even himself. Do you know what happened to him? " Damon explained.
