Ivy's POV
Megan came over earlier than usual to show me her cute messages and voice mails from Dylan. "You know, I think he is going to be different," I replied. "So do I and-- Who's car is that?" I looked up to see Mile's head down in his car in the driveway, adjusting his radio. I completely forgot about him. When he looked up, I rolled my eyes at him and he smiled. Megan and I made our way into the backseat of his car. Megan had no idea what was going on because I forgot to tell her with all the Dylan stuff going on. So much for staying away from Miles. "So, where to?" Miles said, jokingly. I huffed loudly and Megan played along thinking he was actually serious. "University on Townhill Road." Megan said. I looked at her and mouthed that I will explain it to her later. "Alrighty. Ivy would you like to introduce us?" Miles said, looking at me through his mirror. "Megan this is Miles, Miles, this is Megan." "Ohhhh! This is that boy!" Megan squealed." I breathed heavily. "Oh she talks about me?" "Yeah, how annoying you are," I said looking ay his hands on the steering wheel. Miles laughed. "So are you." The drive seemed like forever with Megan talking to Miles the whole way. When we finally got there, I mumbled a thanks to Miles and answered all the questions Megan had about Miles as she spat them out.

After school, Megan said she was going to Dylan's so I could go straight home without waiting for her. As I went to the school parking lot I remembered Miles dropped me off. "Shit." I gpt out my phone and started to text him when his car pulled up next to me. "Need a ride?" Miles said, as I say in the front seat. "Scared I wasn't going to pick you up?" "You kind of gave me no choice to depend on you for a ride," I said. "Right," Miles said laughing. "Whats funny?" "How you depend on me for a ride." "I will be more than happy to not have a ride from you." "Well, I offered." Miles took put his signal to turn to the exit of the campus. I rolled my eyes. "I don't want people to get the wrong idea." "Mmmmm," Miles said but clearly wasn't listening. "I know about the thing with Stacy," I blurted out. "Okay." "Tristan told me that I was in her way?" "No," Miles replied. "She just wants me back thats all." I looked at my hands. "You don't look like the kind of guy to date her." "Oh? Cause back then it was fun to have a girl sit on your lap." "Back then?" "I used to be like the rest of the guys who brought back chicks and got dances on themselves." "Ohh." "And how do I know that? That you changed?" I said smiling at him of being somewhat proud that he is different now. If it is true then this Miles isn't like one of those guys I imagined when I 1st heard about Stacy. "Hmmm," Miles thought. "Let me bring you to dinner and to a party after." "So like a date?" I said automatically. "No. No. I don't do dates but how about Friday?" "And I will make sure I don't need saving this time," I said as I got out of the car and closed the door behind me, not seeing Mile's smirk as I walked away.
