Day 6
<<Speaking English>>
The young ladies were energized after the dancing. Although Yuzu did bump into people several times and got dizzy, everyone was still having fun.
All the twisting and turning on the dance floor worked up everyone's appetite, so Mayumi suggested a nearby seafood restaurant that was different then what Yuzu and Mei were use to.
The environment around the closed streets continued to be busy, but now the crowds were mostly made up of couples or friends, rather then families, who were enjoying the nightlife. And just like before, everyone was having a great time.
There were plenty of shops still open on their way to the restaurant, so Yuzu couldn't help herself to run inside to take a quick peak, to which Mei couldn't help but be amused while April and Mayumi thought it was cute.
As they entered the restaurant, Mei and Yuzu were amazed at the relaxed, inviting atmosphere, with a staff that felt very professional. They saw lots of people in groups, speaking loudly and laughing as both men and women were enjoying themselves. And like before, the food around them smelled great.
The fish they were eating was prepared very differently than what Mei and Yuzu were use to, but it was still very delicious. It was something to add to Yuzu's list of the things they experienced this whole week.
While they sat at the table eating dinner, Yuzu was telling Mayumi and April of how she first met Mei.
It was a cute story, of how Yuzu's mother remarried and of how they found themselves moving to a new town. Of how she had to transfer to an all-girls school and trying to get away with making changes to her boring school uniform.
And it was at the school when she had her first frustrating encounter with the new Student Council President, who she had an argument with about the school rules. And just when Yuzu thought she won the argument, this "Student Council President" frisked her and took away her cellphone. It was at that moment that Yuzu knew that she didn't like this girl.
But nothing prepared her for the shock that same evening, when she learned that the school's Student Council President, the same one who took her cellphone and was now her mortal enemy, was her new little sister.
"So I'm guessing she was the last person you expect to walk into your new apartment?" asked Mayumi while she and April laughed, listening to Yuzu's story of her reaction to Mei's entrance into their apartment.
"Oh god!" laughed Yuzu, excited to tell her story as Mei listened quietly beside her. "Seriously! It was at that same moment when my mom told me a had a new little sister, that she walked in. I was like 'What the hell is she doing here?!' I was all freaking out, thinking 'Why was this creepy girl following me?! Is she a stalker?! Who let her in the building?!'
"Then she starts calling my mom "mother"! I swear, I could've just died right there and then."
Mei didn't respond too much as Yuzu told their story, amused as to the way she was telling it to April and Mayumi as they laughed with Yuzu. It was a simple but amusing, exaggerated tale of how they first met that one day.
But what interested Mei was how Yuzu was leaving out certain details... things that were more embarrassing, if not humiliating to them both if others knew.
Such as how Mei was originally engaged to a teacher named Mr. Amamiya, who was later exposed and humiliated for forcing himself onto her, then later revealed that he was only befriending Mei's grandfather to be married into the family and to get ahold of the Aihara family fortune.
