AFTER SOME TIME explaining to her dad what was going on they were doing research what felt like for weeks. Eventually they came up with Banshee. Sean had never heard of it but of course Billy Black had. Banshees were predictors of death. When someone was close to death they would scream.Sean was now trying to put the pieces together and figure out what was going on with his daughter. "I don't scream." Zuri stated aloud as everyone was at Emily's figuring out what Zuri was.
"Maybe because those times you saw no one actually died." Paul comforted her.
Zuri still didn't understand her abilities. She got feelings but didn't understand where they came from or what they were.
"What do you feel now?" Emily asked.
Zuri looked at the woman and sighed. "I don't know. I think they way you guys think it works isn't how it works."
Xavier looked at his sister. "What does it feel like when people get close to death?"
"I feel like so can't concentrate on anything else. My mind feels like it's going to explode." Zuri confessed.
"So when someone dies. That's when you'll scream." Zac put together.
"I feel that way now. It's just i don't know what any of this means." Zuri stated in frustration. She was tired of the voices.
"I don't want to touch stuff and see things but I don't want to hear them either." She sighed.
"What do you hear now?" Jared asked.
"Your voice. It's like when I get alone they come swarming in." Zuri informed the pack.
"Gail must know something. You saw her in that vision right?" Sean asked.
"No. I just saw Edward say that. I never actually saw her." Zuri answered.
"What could your grandmother possibly be doing in the 30's? She'd be dead." Jared asked.
"Unless she's immortal." Xavier pieced together.
"You don't think grandma is a vampire do you?" Zac asked.
Xavier shrugged their shoulders.
"I don't think so. Vampires can't have kids right? They're dead. Meaning she would've have been able to have mom." Zuri informed her brothers.Zuri slumped in her chair and sighed. "Banshees could be immortal no?" Paul asked.
"No." Sean answered.
As time went by Zuri head began to hurt but she didn't know from what. She wasn't hearing voices nor did she get that tingle she typically felt. She started to assume it was just stress. Zuri didn't realize she grabbed the necklace she was wearing and looked up and she was back into the 1930's. 'Great'.
She looked around and saw the same scene she had seen before. Maybe this was hear mind trying to complete it.
"I know what you did. Edward we spoke about this...control." A familiar voice stated.
"It's hard to. You know this. Which is why we can't be together" Edward looked into Zuri's eyes.
That's when she realized she must be in her grandmothers point of view.
"I want this to work. I'm not scared." Gail spoke.
"What if I hurt you? I could never forgive myself." Edward replied sipping on a drink.
"I'd stop you before you get the chance." Gail flirtatiously replied before her hands glowed purple.
"What about your life. You want kids, I can't offer you that anymore." Edward grimaced.
