AS MORNING CAME, Zuri was getting dressed to be ready for Embry when he arrived. After her morning routine she went downstairs to be greeted with breakfast.

"Wow." She stated astonished at the spread of breakfast. There was French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, a big fruit salad and smoothies.

"Yeah. Your brothers sure do know how to eat." Miranda said fixing Zuri a plate.

"Your not vegan or vegetarian are you?" She asked with a smile.

"Nope. I could eat a whole pack of bacon if I wanted too." Zuri joked.

Miranda laughed putting the plate down on the island where Zuri was sitting on a bar stool.

"So any first day jitters?" She asked her stepdaughter pouring her some fresh squeezed lemonade.

"Nope, this isn't new to me. I'm used to moving schools so often." She confessed taking bite out of the pancake. Although, I am interested in who cute or not though." She whispered so her protective dad or brothers would hear.

"What about cute boy?" Her dad whispered in her ear copying her and putting a kiss in her cheek. Zuri jumped after hearing her dad.

"I mean come on I'm turning seventeen. Around this time most girls will have a boyfriend or girlfriend." Zuri stated looking at her dad. Sean rolled his eyes not wanting to think about his little girl having a boyfriend.

Of course during this conversation her brothers trot down the stairs.

"Yeah. Or lose their virginity. Like you and Ty." Xavier blurted. Zuri sighed knowing that Xavier didn't forget last night's conversation.

"YOU WHAT?!" Her dad shouted. "You're sixteen Zuri. Where the hell was your mother...actually don't answer that." Her dad began to rant. Sean began to flip out that his daughter had potentially lost her virginity.

"I knew I should've taken custody if you the first chance I got. Was Eve allowing this?" Sean continued to rant as Zuri sat quietly watching her father pace back and fourth. Zuri really tried not to laugh at her dad's reaction.

"Not that its anybody's concern, I am a virgin thank you very much." Zuri stated rolling her eyes finishing her breakfast, while sipping her orange juice.

"What about this virginity pact you have?" Xavier questioned taking a piece of bacon off the tray.  Zac eyes diverted from the conversation.

"Oh my god." Zuri groaned. "Shut the hell up Xavier!"

"Langauge!" Sean scolded.

Before she could speak there was a car horn.

"Well look at the time. That must be Embry." Zuri rushed getting up, putting her dishes in the sink and grabbed her shoes to put them on.

"You know you could've rode with Zac and I right?" Xavier huffed, not wanting her to ride with Embry who is on the brink of phasing.

"I'm good." She stated. When she walked out the house she was greeted with two boys on her front porch.

"Paul and Jared right?" She asked politely.

"Aw. She remembered our names." Jared joked, as Paul rolled his eyes before returning his focus on his imprint in front of him.

"So, how are you getting to school." Paul asked smiling hoping that she'd need a ride.

Zuri points to the silver honda behind them pulling up.

"Oh." Paul growled.

"I don't think you should ride with him Zuri." Zac stated with Xavier coming out the house behind him.
