Dinner rolled in as soon as the clock struck 6:45 pm.
Whilst eating the delicious food cooked by the one and only Jin, Sunoo's eyes couldn't help but glare (Sunoo insisted he was just staring) at his older hyungs.
"Pst, Sunoo, you'll burn them" Niki joked, but stopped when Sunoo wasn't budging.
Jay gave a frustrated sigh as he stomped on Sunoo's foot.
"OW!" Sunoo winced. "What the freakity—"
Heeseung cleared his throat out loud.
"What is your problem hyung?" Sunoo corrected himself, eyes glaring holes at Jay.
"You're glaring at them" Jay said through gritted teeth.
"Am not"
Jake sighed. "Just continue eating"
The rest of the dinner seemed too weird with the Enhypen boys stopping Sunoo from glaring at their older brothers while said ones are too busy having a conversation consisting of Seoul Festival's Candle Night.
The Candle Night is the first night of the festival whereas all the people come to El Casa De Mahika to celebrate the BigHit family's gift and such. Coincidentally, El Casa De Mahika and its magic showed up in the same day of Seoul Festival.
"What do you think boys?"
The 6 boys who glared at Sunoo froze (including Sunoo) as they looked at their hyungs staring at them.
"What did you say hyung?" Heeseung asked.
"I said we should cancel the Candle Night" Namjoon said. "But Yeonjun and Soobin thinks we should go on. What do you guys think?" He asked.
Sunghoon spit out his water. "Why should we cancel Candle Night? I've never missed Candle Night since I was born and you can't cancel it!"
Jake, who was the one who got wet, wiped the water down from his forehead. "Why are we canceling Candle Night anyways?" He glared at Sunghoon before looking at Taehyung. "Hyung, could you, uhh.."
"Oh yeah yeah, sure" Taehyung flicked his hand as Jake was dry in one blow.
"With the house in bad condition, having the Candle Night might end with a disaster" Jin said with worry.
"We can work it out hyung" Jungwon said. "We just need to find out why this is happening"
"Are you sure we can find the cause in just a week?" Hoseok asked with an eyebrow raised.
Jungwon frowned, now getting to the point. "Oh....."
"But we can find it before Seoul Festival" Sunoo spoke up. "We just need to work together"
"Sunoo, that's a great idea. But," Jimin sighed. "It'll be hard"
Something was clearly off.
🌱
Sunoo was back at the secret room, eyeing the frame once again.
"Just what are they hiding?" He muttered, opening a drawer.
It contained some stationary supplies, such as memo pads, markers, highlighters, pen and etc. with an envelope standing out from all.
"What's this......"
He gently grabbed the envelope and opened it, revealing a letter.
He unfolded the piece of paper, reading it.
Dear Lee Hyun Hyung,
Please come back Hyung, everyone's worried. Soobin won't stop crying, he thinks you ran away because you didn't like him and Yeonjun.
I beg you Hyung, come back home. We're not mad.
We love you hyung.
And I'm starting to worry, your name is starting to fade on the lantern. Don't tell me you left the world.
Just...........come back hyung. Wherever you are.
I hope you see this letter.
- Jin
Sunoo widen his eyes, looking at the address that was written in the inside of the envelope.
October 18, 2016
So this was a long time ago. Way before Beomgyu hyung had came in.
"2016, this is probably the year Soobin entered the house" He mumbled.
"Hold on" He mumbled.
"Who's Lee Hyun?" He raised an eyebrow, looking at photo frame of a man.
"Is he Lee Hyun?"
🌱
The BTS group were all at the backyard, discussing a very important topic.
"Do you think this is about him?" Jin started, sitting on the huge boulders that now served as seats.
"That can't be, it's been what? 5 years?" Yoongi said.
"6" Namjoon corrected.
"But," Jungkook pursed his lips. "It's been a long time, there's no way it's about him"
Hoseok widen his eyes as he realized something. "The lantern....."
"Huh?"
"The lantern at the front porch, his name is still there, it's just so faint you can't see it from afar"
"Which means he could still be nearby. The name only fades away completely if he left Seoul or......." Taehyung gulped. ".....died"
"Yah! Don't say that!" Jimin scolded.
"We don't really know for sure. But what Taehyung said is true" Jin stated. "If his name is still in the lantern, then he could still be possibly in town"
"But where else could he possibly hide? If he had lived with a villager in town, they should've told us or something" Jungkook said.
"Let's just wait and see" Yoongi said. "Now that I remembered it, should we continue Candle Night?"
🌱
"Oh, Sunoo-ah, what brings you here?" A long haired male smiled warmly upon seeing Sunoo enter.
"Hey Jeonghan hyung. Jin hyung said he'll order a cake for Candle Night" Sunoo said.
Jeonghan crossed his arms. "I think I can do that. Give me details"
"A 3 layered chocolate cake with green icing on the bottom cake, light brown icing on the middle cake, and gradient pink, purple and blue icing for the top. Ooh, and he said if you could add a miniature candy of the house"
Jeonghan nodded. "Got it. I'll be sure to make it done and be delivered at......"
"6 pm"
"6 pm, got it" Jeonghan smiled.
"We'll pay when it comes right?"
"Yep!" Jeonghan said, popping the p.
"Great, see you at Candle Night hyung!" Sunoo waved, leaving the bakery.
