11:40 pm, just a few minutes before Niki's birthday and while the villagers danced to the music played, the HYBE family all gathered by the lake, the fireflies dancing in the sky above them.

Sunghoon joined them lastly. "Sorry for the wait, I got caught up chatting with Wonyoung" He said, making his seat beside Jake.

"Say, Sunghoon-ah" Seungkwan spoke up, resting his chin on his palm. "Who's Wonyoung to you hm? You seem awfully close"

"Too close actually" Hansol added.

Sunghoon blushed. "S-She's just a uh....childhood friend"

"Oh wait, yeah I remember now" Jun nodded. "She's from here when she was a kid. But her family moved to Daegu when she turned 10"

"Exactly" Sunghoon nodded. "And she's been visiting here in Seoul, every December.......specifically my birthday"

"You must really mean a lot to her seeing all her efforts" Heeseung said, chuckling.

"She seems very nice" Sunoo said, playing with the water. "Wonyoung noona taught me how to fold this lotus flower origami see?" He said, showing it off to the family.

Jihoon looked at Sunghoon. Then after a minute, he spoke up. "Do you like her, Sunghoon?"

Sunghoon perked up, his eyes wide. "M-Me? Oh, no! No! Never!" He nervously laughed, looking away.

The family stared at him.

His laugh died, as he sighed. "I- Yeah, I do like her"

"I knew it" Yeonjun whispered.

"But it's impossible" Sunghoon said defeated. "I'm too scared to confess. Heck, I don't even know if she likes me back!"

"Well there's one way to find out" Jisoo said, smirking as he looked at Taehyung, who shared the smirk back.

"Uh no, just no" Seungcheol quickly stopped their plan.

"But Cheol-"

"That's final boys" Jin said, giving a hard glare.

The two gulped, as they kept silent.

Sunoo sat beside Sunghoon as he placed a hand on his knee. "I'm sure she likes you too hyung. Who wouldn't like you? You're smart"

"And witty" Niki said, grinning.

"A little dumb" Jay said, holding back a snicker.

"But has the purest heart" Jake said, glaring at Jay before smiling at Sunghoon.

"So.....do you guys think I have a chance with Wonyoung?" Sunghoon asked, his eyes shining with hope.

"Yeah" Heeseung chuckled with a nod.

"Definitely" Jungkook nodded.

"I say go for it" Soonyoung encouraged.

"I think it'll be totally worth it" HeuningKai smiled.

"I should do it now. While I still have the courage" Sunghoon said, standing up.

"Yes!" His family cheered.

"Go for it Hoon!" Jake yelled.

Sunghoon nodded, running back to the village.

Lee Hyun sighed happily, resting his arms on his knees. "You know what's weird?"

Hoseok looked at him. "What?"

"He can read minds, yet he can't read Wonyoung's mind to see is she likes him back or not" He chuckled.

Taehyun laughed. "It's what love does"

"Okay guys, but back to our family situation" Jin spoke up as he looked at Heeseung and Sunoo.
