It was midnight. And Sunoo was still wide awake. His eyes wide as he watched the ceiling for hours now.

He let out a soft sigh, before sitting up and climbing down from the bunk bed, silently walking out of the room with a jacket wrapped around him.

He tiptoed across the hallway until he reached a certain room, pushing it softly only to find it unlocked, much to his delight.

He sighed as he slid down. "Finally"

"Hey kid"

"Gah!" Sunoo jumped out, startled.

The elemental in front of him laughed out loud. "Woah woah, relax bud" He laughed, landing on the floor.

Sunoo gasped for air. "Hyung.....you have no idea how much you scared the freaking sh*t out of me"

Chanyeol put his palms up. "Woah, watch the language bud" He chuckled.

Sunoo gasped out another breath, before smiling sheepishly, mumbling an apology.

Although the all-round elemental just found him cute. "Now, answer me. What are you doing here at this late hour?" He asked, pointing his sword down.

Sunoo cleared his throat. "Well.....I was hoping to get extra training. You know.....with the whole thing going on"

"Oh" Chanyeol's smile slowly fell, the certain memory resurfacing his mind. "Yeah, it's been..........rough. Jieun Noona can barely keep up with the fight"

"So I heard" Sunoo mumbled, as the tension in the room became gloomy.

"Hey cheer up squirt" Chanyeol then explained. "C'mon, I'll give a one on one training session" He said, lifting up his sword.

Sunoo smirked, lifting up his. "Bring it on"

The clock struck 12, as Sunghoon was asleep, but kept tossing and turning.

"HELP ME!" Sunghoon screamed as the hand grabbed him into the water.

Sunghoon tried to open his eyes, but because the water was too cold, he could only open them for a second or two.

But he didn't miss the smirk of the black figure in front him, before he saw a white glow consume him, their appearance changing. Their skin turned white, and his hair turned blonde, the shape of his face changed too, sharp jawline with a small mole near his nose.

Sunghoon knew all too well.

It was an exact copy of him.

Sunghoon struggled to move his arms up, but the shapeshifter kept pulling him down.

It was then a strong wave of adrenaline invaded his body, as he kicked his copycat's face, and once his leg was freed, he quickly swam up, his arms waving frantically until he was finally pulled out.

"You haven't seen the last of me, Park Sunghoon" The voice said in a menacing tone.

Sunghoon jolted up, breathing heavily, his eyes looking around to meet almost all his brothers asleep.

Almost all. Except for one.

"Hoon?" Jay look at him with worried eyes, hopping off his bed and running over to Sunghoon's. "You okay?" He asked, placing a hand on his knee.

"Y-Yeah" Sunghoon shakily breathed out.

Jay looked at him once more. "Sunghoon"

"Hm?"

"It's gonna be okay alright? I promise"

"You're not even sure about that Jay" Sunghoon sighed.

Jay shook his head. "Trust me. Trust me when I say I will protect my family no matter what"

He looked at the window, the moon shining bright as he looked back at Sunghoon. "Trust me"

The first hour of the morning came, as Sunoo and Chanyeol bended down with heavy breaths, their hands holding on to their knees.

Sunoo wiped the sweat off his forehead. "Thanks again Chanyeol hyung"

"No problem kiddo" Chanyeol smiled, tossing his sword back at the pile of weapons.

"Well, I'll be off now. I have duty to attend to" Chanyeol said, casually walking out of the room as if his energy hadn't been drained from all that training.

Once the doors closed, Sunoo collapsed into the floor in exhaustion.

"Ughhhh, when will this end?" He groaned.

He turned his head, now facing the window when he suddenly saw something move in the bushes.

"Huh?" He stood up, approaching the glass window as he squinted his eyes.

"Is that...."

Once the figure stood up from the bushes, they and Sunoo made eye contact.

Sunoo's jaw dropped.

"Hanbin?!"

The tiger hybrid smiled, as he waved his hand around as the leaves flew and created a word, rather a sentence.

It only took Sunoo a few seconds to read it before he went off sprinting out of the room.
