"Yes! One more day before the big night!" Jungwon brightly said entering the once peaceful dining room.
"Good morning Won" Jin greeted, as the vacant chair slid over Jungwon and made him sit on it, sliding back to the vacant spot on the table.
As on cue, a plate rolled out from the plate rack, safely landing in front of Jungwon.
"Why are you all so quiet today huh?" Jungwon asked suspiciously, as a pancake landed on his plate, followed by a fork and the syrup bottle. He poured some syrup on his pancake before looking up at his family, slamming the bottle back at the table. "Usually during breakfast Yeonjun hyung and Soobin hyung bicker about useless things" He took a bite of his pancake, still looking at them. "So what's with those faces?" He waved his fork at them.
Namjoon sighed. "Guess and see who's not at the table"
Jungwon looked around the huge table, eyes then landed on the vacant chair beside him.
"It's Sunoo isn't it?"
Everyone nodded.
"What happened this time?"
"Well, you ask Yoongi" Jin looked at the short male who's mindlessly growing tiny vines from the small holes on the table.
"Hm? Oh yeah" Yoongi perked up. "Niki asked Sunoo if he had a brother"
"What? But he hasn't" Jungwon looked at Niki.
"That soul I saw that day, back at the bakery, was Sunoo hyung's brother" Niki said.
"What?!" Jungwon yelled. "That's insane!"
"Yeah" Heeseung said. "But Sunoo said he doesn't have a brother"
Jungwon furrowed his eyebrows. "Then.....what are we gonna do?"
"We can figure that out once Candle Night is over" Namjoon said. "For now, let's focus on the event tomorrow"
🌱
Meanwhile Sunoo skipped into the village, the decorations brightly displayed on lampposts and such.
"Sunoo-ah!"
Sunoo turned around and smiled. "Seungkwannie Hyung!"
The town's diva walked over to him, a basket in his hold. "Sunoo! It's been weeks since you last slept over at my house!" He pouted.
Sunoo chuckled, pocketing his hands. "Sorry Kwan hyung. Things haven't been easy for me lately"
"Mmm, I see" Seungkwan slowly nodded. "Anyways....." He reached out for something in his basket. "Me and Sollie made these for Candle Night, I should have really given this to you until tomorrow but I figured I won't be able to spot you easily tomorrow night anyways" He pulled out his hand to reveal a pack of paper flowers.
"Oh, thank you hyung" Sunoo bowed. "I'll put these up once I return"
Seungkwan smile. "Well, I must be off, got a lot of things to do. Ta-ta!" He waved, walking away.
"Tell Hansol hyung I said hi!" Sunoo yelled.
"Will do!" Seungkwan yelled back as he disappeared into the crowd.
Sunoo opened the ziplock bag and grabbed one paper flower out.
"I wonder how he made this"
🌱
"Hey hyungs! Seungkwan hyung just gave me these paper flowers! It'll look great with the other decorations!" Sunoo halted on the front door upon seeing his family crowd over something.
