Cedric Diggory × Fred Weasley Oneshots!

🎄 Christmas at The Burrow 🎄

     
    

   ~In this story they are in 5th year, and Fred and Cedrics parents are friends thats why they are invited now onto the story~

     It was the day before Christmas, Christams eve. Fred and George were sitting by the fire drinking hot cocoa as they thought about more prank ideas for the new year, when they get back to hogwarts of course. Then all of a sudden they heard a knock on the door, it was almost so soft that they had only just heard it.

   "FRED DEAR, WILL GET THE DOOR FOR ME PLEASE" Molly Weasley yelled from the kitchen as she was baking a batch of ginger bread cookies. Fred groaned as he lifted himself off the sofa cushion, George laughed because he hadn't had the need to get up. Thus causing Fred to flick George on the side of his head.

    Fred stumbles to the door, almost tripping on a piece of wrapping paper. He scoffs at the paper lying on the floor before finally answering the waiting people at the door. As the door swings open Fred's mouth agaped in shock, to see the one and only Cedric Diggory and his father Amos diggory waiting in the freezing snow. "W-what are you d-doing here Diggory" Fred scoffed as he cursed himself for stuttering in front of Cedric. "Your mum invited us for Christmas eve dinner." Cedric said in a polite tone, Fred roles his eyes but let's him inside anyways. The Diggorys walk in, as Molly comes to the door, "ah hello Cedric, Amos, how are the both of you" Molly said. "Very well, thank you for asking Molly" Amos replied. "How are you and your family doing."we are splendid right Fred." "Yeah" Fred grumbled. Molly nuged him, giving him the impression that he should behave.
 
    "Ahhh Amos my dear friend" greeted Arthur as he jogged down the steps. "Hello Arthur" Amos said. Then they walked away talking about the Ministry else were. "Molly, I think that supper is ready" the fourteen year old Hermione Granger informed. "Ah alright thank you for telling me Hermione, why don't you help me bring it to the table dear." "Of course" Hermione said faster then you could say avada kadavera. Then they left to the kitchens to set up the meal. Fred looked at Cedric before walking back to his twin in the living area. Cedric followed after Fred and sat down at a chair next to the sofa that the twins shared. George glared at Cedric, "what is he doing here Freddie.?" "Don't ask me ask mum she's the one who invited the git." Fred said in an annoyed tone. Fred saw a glint of sadness in the kind brunette boys endearing grey eyes, causing him to slightly frown, he didn't want to hurt the boy its just that he had feelings he couldn't explain. These said feelings confused him, he has never felt such feelings before, especially not for a boy.  He wanted to hug the hufflepuff but he just couldn't pluck the courage to, kinda stupid for a gryffindor he thought.

    Ginny walks in almost squealing at the sight of the handsome brunette. "Hi Cedric" she says batting her small eyelashes. Fred scoffs at his little sister trying to flirt, with the tall boy. Cedric laughs out loud, at the twelve year old girl trying to shoot her shot with him. Ginny blushes at his laugh, Fred thinks it sounds like music to his ears, and lastly George just thinks it's a regular laugh, so he looks at each of his siblings like they are mad.

    "Everyone supper is ready!" Molly screams from the dining area so everyone could hear her. As Fred walks in he can see that there is extra chairs making the already squished room crammed with people. Molly and Arthur sit at the ends of the table, Amos sits next to Arthur, Cedric across the table from his father also sitting next to Arthur, beside Cedric is Fred, then George, Harry, and Ron, then it's Molly at her end and next to her is Charlie, Bill, Ginny, Hermione, Percy and then we are back to Amos.

    ~Time skip to after dinner because I am way to lazy~

    After supper Molly told everyone to come to the living room. Everybody either sat on a piece of furniture or the floor because there wasn't that much space. "I have something to tell you lot" Molly said, everyone wondered what she could be talking about. "I just wanted to say that I think its a wonderful idea to let Cedric stay the night, hence we are already allowing Hermione and Harry to stay over." Everyone either didn't care or were extremely excited, all except for one carrot.... Fred, of course.
    
    Fred wouldn't have minded him staying over if he hadn't had feelings for the boy, and not to mention Molly thought it was a grand idea to let him sleep in the twins' room. George new about Fred's feelings for the hufflepuff, so he agreed that he should sleep in their room, just to tease his brother.

    ~Time skip to about two hours later, now being 8 o'clock~

     The twins and Cedric were just chilling in the twins' room doing their own thing, when a idea came into George's mind. "Why don't you two make a fort..?" George questioned. Fred quirked an eyebrow at his twin and asked "why?". George smirked knowing his brother would never turn down a challenge, "well because I think it would be fun for the two of you, why are you asking why, Freddie do you think you can't do it..?" "What of course I can, do you think I am the king of everything for nothing, come on Diggory we have got work to do." Fred said dragging the boy by the arm down into the living room. George laughed, choking out between laughs "it works everytime."
   
    Downstairs Fred went to the closet full of pillows and blankets, he picked out the ones he reckons would work out the best. After collecting the blankets he dropped them right where they were going to build the fort. Fred started to work on the fort, but then suddenly looked up at Cedric, "are you going to help Diggory or are you going to just stand there and stare into my soul" Fred said trying to joke. Cedric laughed and started to help causing Fred to smile, then he quickly stopped smiling to hide that he was even a little happy. Little did he know Cedric already saw that he had smiled causing the hufflepuff's smile to brighten.
  
    After they built the fort they got snacks and candles to bring into the fort, both boys already forgetting about the challenge they made with George. Once they got in, they each covered themselves in blanckets and opened their snacks. "Ahem do you think that uhh the Ministry will find Sirius Black..?" Cedric asked awkwardly. "Probly, but whenever we bring him up to professor Lupin he always gets awkward and changes the subject, if you ask me I think its sorta sus." Fred said shrugging. Cedric agreed that that was quite suspicious. After their short conversation on Sirius, they moved onto talking about random things and once they got comfortable talking to each other they joked around and were more laid back.
 
      Suddenly Cedric abruptly asks Fred "hey do you fancy anyone..?" Fred looks at him surprised, then thinks about it "well umm, I guess I do" he says smiling , "do you Cedric.?" "Yeah I have a crush too" Cedric replies anxiously. Then they look at eachother, "how about we say it at the same time" Fred implies. They both count to three, "1 2 3" and say "you" at the same time. Looking into each other's eyes, both blushing a crimson red, they aimlessly inched closer, their lips almost touching , they could already feel the sparks of love on the tips of their fingers, until........

    Ginny crawls into the fort, "what are guys doing in here can I join..?" She asked innocently. They jumped apart as Fred groaned throwing  his head back to look at his sister, "really.!!!" The mischievous boy whined. Ginny looked at her brother in confusion "what.? What did I do..?" She asked siting down next to him. Cedric replies with a sweet nothing.
