It was April 24th, a warm day with the sun shining over view. Today was the day Cedric had planned the perfect date for him and his boyfriend. He was actually heading to the designated spot right now to start preparing it. He had brought blankets, pillows, and cushions, for them to use to sit on and get comfortable. He had then set up lanterns that they could light and let go into the sky over the black lake when the perfect time comes and he put some in the water so they could float. He brought a boat so they could sail around with the lanterns surrounding them and lastly He had brought a basket full of both of their favorite meals and snacks to enjoy. He was doing this all while George was distracting Fred or at least trying to.
"Ughhhh why do you want to go to the library George, it's a Saturday and I want to be with my boyfriend not go to a stupid library." Fred exclaimed in frustration. "Oh come on Freddie I just want to talk about some pranks then you can go see your boyfriend, I want to go somewhere quiet so why not the go to library..." George said. "Fine" Fred huffed out. "But let's go now so we can get this over and done with." Then George sighed "okay okay lets go then." George already new this was gonna be a pain in the ass.
~◇~At the Library~◇~
George took out their prank journal, opening up to a blank page that they can create ideas on, he was just hoping that this would distract Fred for long enough. Your probably wondering why George would even agree to do this because it was George but Cedric said he will pay him and do George's homework for a week so he had to agree, because homework was going to be the death of him. George smiled "okay Freddie do you have any ideas..?" Fred thought for a moment "hmmmmm" he put his hand on his chin leaning on it. "How about we put a prank stool in the trophy room so when someone needs to be lifted up they will step on it but it will like brake under their weight and they fall or something..?" George blinked "well I mean that could work but don't you think that they will use some kind of charm instead, Fred." Fred sighed "ahh I didn't think of that"
An hour later. "OOoooOoOo we could make another candy, and we could make it enhance your hearing so like they can hear things louder like a cat." Fred said with sparkling eyes. George grinned "I was thinking the same thing Freddie, I guess great minds think alike" Fred smiled "I guess so." They both laughed slightly. Fred looked at the time "hey don't you think we have been doing this for long enough, it's been like an hour." George looked at the clock it was around 3 in the afternoon, and he remembered that Cedric said to bring Fred there at 3:30. George stood and said "well Fred I think you should change into something a bit better than that and then I will bring you somewhere special" after speaking he winked at his brother. Fred looked confused but agreed and they ran to the dormitories. After entering his room he went through his trunk to find a red sweater that he put on top of a white turtleneck, with a pair of brown pants and brown sneakers.

After changing he headed out of the dorms and followed George out of hogwarts and they started towards the black lake. "Why are you bringing me to the black lake Georgie..?" Fred questioned. George replied with a smirk "you'll see." This caused Fred to pout slightly. Once they were close enough George told him to go on alone. Fred was confused but walked on anyway. In the distance he could see lanterns in the lake, it looked beautiful like stars on a sea of black. He smiled at the dazzling sight. Once he got closer he could tell that there was a sort of picnic with many pillows and fluffy blankets, then right in the center of the gorgeous scene was the love of his life. The boy had been wearing a yellow champions crew neck, with light wash jeans, and vans.

Cedric turned around and smiled "hey." He said. Fred blushed "hi but what's all this for..?" Cedric replied with "there's no reason I just wanted to have a date and I thought we could use a break so I prepared this." Fred grinned "well it looks really nice." Cedric's ears reddened "ohh well uhh thanks I tried really hard to make it perfect just for you" he said scratching the back of his neck. Fred said "well I think it is perfect... IS THAT FOOD!!" Cedric laughed "yeah it has both of our favorite foods, we can eat if you want" "yassss let's eat I am so hungry" Fred exclaimed digging into the basket finding some delicious looking sandwiches.
After they ate their sandwiches, they took out a beautifully hand crafted peach and blueberry pie. The aroma was so inviting and warm their mouths started to water in anticipation for their first bites. This pie was Fred's favorite, Cedric new this and he also new that only Molly made it, it was a family recipe. Knowing such information, allowed him to contact Mrs.Weasley and ask her to make such pie, Molly had of course agreed and then acciod the pie into the basket at the perfect time, so it was warm and gooey. Fred smiled "how did you get my favorite pie only mum makes it..!??!" Cedric sheepishly grins "I may or may not have asked her to make one and then accio it here." Fred laughed "that's very kind of you, thanks!!" Cedric grinned "it was my pleasure." They then enjoyed the pie and the rest of the food.
Cedric abruptly stood up "come with me." Fred quirked an eyebrow "mmm what for?" Cedric slightly smiled "do you trust me" Fred replied with an "of course." "Okay well then come on" Cedric said. Cedric put his hand out and Fred took it, standing up. Cedric lead him to the edge of the lake. "Your not gonna push me into the lake right? Because I don't want to have to do laundry" Fred whined. Cedric laughed "aren't you supposed to do laundry anyway and no I am not gonna push you" Fred's ears reddened in embarrassment"well yeah I have to do laundry but that doesn't mean I am going to." Cedric sighed and pointed at the small boat. "We're going on that Fred" Fred looked at the boat and his eyes glistened "This is gonna bring me back to first year." He said in nostalgia. Cedric smiled "ok you get on first while I go and quickly grab something." Fred nodded in understanding and stepped into the wobbly boat. He had almost fallen but quickly picked up his balance, after getting in he sat down on one side.
Cedric came back with two lanterns that they could release into the already star lit sky. After getting into the boat to join Fred with great difficulty he say down on the other end. Setting the lanterns in the middle, he picked up one of the boat oars and started to maneuver the boat into the right direction. He had brought them out a small amount because he didn't want them to be to far from the shore. "Would you like to put the lanterns into the sky and make a wish." Cedric asked, nervous sweat seeping out of him like bullets. Fred smiled "sure why not." They both took a lantern in their hands, making a wish they released them. "What did you wish for?" Fred asked intrigued to know. "I can't tell you or it won't come true" Cedric said smirking. Fred pouted he had kept begging him until they had to go back inside, and their sweet little night was over; but little did Fred know that they had wished for the same thing, that was to stay together forever no matter what tries to tear them apart and that they will love eachother through thick and thin.
