It was a warm evening at Hogwarts with clear blue skies and a sun so bright it makes everyone light with joy. Alough the sun didn't stay for long for it disappeared behind the horizon and left in its place is a moon almost just as bright with dazzling stars scattered around it.

Fred sat in a singular chair close to the fire in the gryffindor commons. He had been sitting there looking at the clock impatiently for 30 minutes, waiting for the right time to head to the astonomy tower. It was nearly ten and he thought it was the right time to go, since he and Cedric always meet at 10. So he lifted himself up and off the cushioned seat and started off to the portrait hole that led to the corridor outside.
Once he pushed the portrait open, he left without a second glance. He took out the dirty tattered old marauders map and quickly checked the map for any signs of teachers around. Then he skimmed it for Cedric to see if he had left and was safe from any teachers as well. He sighed in relief when he saw Cedric safely walking to the astronomy tower with nobody in his way. Once he lifted his head up from the map he started off to the astonomy tower, keeping the map infront of him so he could glance at it every once and awhile. He looked at the map one more time before he got to the tower, quickly folding it and stuffing it back into his pocket.
He entered the tower and headed up the spiral of stairs, the farther he got the wider his smile became. As he got to the top he looked for the boy he was meeting with. He finally saw the brunette leaning against the medal bars binding you from falling of the tower. He breathed in the view of the boy infront of him, he looked ethereal with the moon cast over his features.
"Hey" Cedric had said once he saw the freckled boy.
"Hey" Fred replied with a breath.
Fred then walked up to the boy leaning on the railing, gasping at the cold that the metal projected onto his bare skin. Cedric chuckled at the reaction and Fred blushed of embarrassment covering his face with his hands. "Shove off" The red head said with no malice evident. This making Cedric laugh more and gently take the hands off of Fred's face smiling at him. Fred smiled back and Cedric intertwined his hands with the others, causing the already slightly flustered boy to go more red.
After admiring each other for a few moments they ended up looking out into the beautiful sky looking at how the stars twinkle and the moon shines. They both thought the view was astonishing and felt that they were lucky they could see this almost every night in the presence of each other.
Cedric looked over at Fred lovingly as he saw the way Fred's eyes sparkled in amazement as he looked at the sky like it was something he had never seen before and the way his freckles reminded him of a cluster of stars, the reason behind why he loved astronomy so much since they had gotten together.
All of this just made him think that he was lucky to be able to be loved and to love Fred Weasley and he didn't know what life would be like without him by his side. Cedric knew now that it was Fred Weasley that he will live with for the rest of his life and never let go of, he always knew it was him he just never let himself believe it but now he did.
"I love you Freddie"
Fred looked over at Cedric.
"I love you too Ced"
That was the night they finally realized they were each others home and that it would never change.
